Unfortunately, I believe that few people knows about this amazing game. Graphic, history, incredible gameplay. I think for the games of the same category, this would be in the top 10 in my opinion.

Black Forest Games here are doing what most great Indie Developers do: develop an interesting mechanic, here the dual worlds of the two sisters, and then develop the game around that mechanic. It's a formula which has been serving developers very well in the past and here it is much the same. The world is great to look at, the music is wonderful but in the end these are forever in the peripheries as the player focuses on getting through the challenging levels using a combination of the switch, dash and whirl moves. This, like so many single mechanic indie platformers, becomes the games greatest strength and its greatest weakness. You are never given new abilities or moves, the level design rarely changes bar superficially and aesthetically. You must simply work on perfecting how you use the three moves that are given to you. It is certainly a fun game but you can only play the same level repainted so many times. Like other platformers, it provides extras but these come in subtle variations of the levels already played through. Time trials, hardcore and uber hardcore modes (I pity the person that tries this and worship them who complete it). The theme, indeed the theme of most indie platformers is that you have to replay the same or similar levels and just try and get better. It appeals to a certain demographic, it repels another and I fall somewhere in the middle. I'm giving it a 7/10. The levels are beautifully constructed, the soundtrack is excellent but the game's replay ability is superficial and it can feel like a chore to get through. You can replay any game you just need a reason to. Some people will find that reason, I haven't.
