FlingSmash is good for some mindless, co-op fun for a while, but there are plenty of other games out there for that too. But if you want something that uses the wii mote that nearly anyone can play, it's worth at least a lazy afternoon. It's not really that FlingSmash isn't good or that isn't bad, just that it doesn't get interesting after the surface level of playing it, so really there is little reason to revisit.

It's OK I guess. It's very niche and obscure, and its primary purpose is showcasing the Motion Plus. It's fun for a few minutes but I moved on and didn't rediscover it until 10 years later. I don't even know who the final boss of this game is;)

This game is horrible. Even though the game requires the Wii Motion Plus accessory or a Wii Remote Plus controller in order to play, I didn't see any difference in the motion controls. FlingSmash all in all is very disappointing and I say you should totally skip it and screw you MJR for calling this game a "hidden gem".

FlingSmash, to me, is a 10/10 game. The world is lively and vivid, with fun character designs. The controls are fluid due to the Wii MotionPlus's capabilities. The game has an original gameplay style that goes hand-in-hand with the Wii's gimmick of motion controls. Don't know why it's not as highly regarded by the critics.

ok, it might not be a 10/10 game, it's just to make the score higher because Fling smash is a great **** graphics are great for a wii game, the world is colorful and charming. the gameplay/controls were orginal, fun and adictive.

I honestly don't know why FlingSmash has gotten so much hate on the site. So I've decided the review into a few parts to show you why I love FlingSmash. Graphics- The game looks simply great! The style stands out and the colors are hyper-vibrant. Just puts you in a good mood. Music- It's nice-ish kind of. Not my style but definitely doesn't make me cringe of anything. Story- Damsel is distress. Save her. Done. If you're playing this for the story, their isn't much to offer here. Content- Short, yes. Worth it for the low price. YES! Level design is superb, if you were wondering. Controls and Gameplay- It works. The controls, contrary to popular belief, are decent. I also enjoy the numerous power-ups. Special Round (BOSSES) - The boss fights are so fun. Especially the last one, I love it. So yeah. Sounds fun? You decide.

As nintendo world report put it: FlingSmash is full of interesting gameplay ideas that would've been a lot more fun if the game controlled well, or at the very least, compensated for the poor controls by being a little more forgiving. The game is mediocre and not worth your time. Artoon is horrible.

This game's only problem is the fact that is on CD. It should be damned WiiWare. Controls are okay and main villain is kind of cool, but most of time you just have to mindlessly swing Wii remote to every possible direction. Stages with metal characters shouldn't be in game (game's normal mindlessness times three) The best thing about game is fact that it comes with Wii Motion Plus and it's cheaper than controller alone!
