Unfortunately this game is very broken on the Switch. I was misled by the high reviews on Steam so I can only assume it's much better there. There are a myriad of issues: - Each time you pick up an item it unequips your weapon. To equip it again you have to go into your inventory. So you're constantly pressing start and going into your inventory because you pick up a lot of items in this game. This is annoying and time consuming, and you are on a race against the clock in this game. - The menu is flat out broken. Scrolling is wonky, you press down to scroll down and nothing happens, but if you press up it will scroll down. What? Other times it will just not let you scroll past a certain point. Say you have five quests, it will let you scroll through the first three and won't let you scroll to four or five. Infuriating since you need to select a quest to track it. - For a game that looks like an early 3D PS1 game, the frame rate dips and stutters are inexcusable. Especially when you leave home every morning. - When you enter an establishment like a cafe, all the NPCs have the same generic line. They couldn't be bothered to add a few extra lines to this game. - Your wife refers to your child as "they" because the developers didn't want to bother adding unique dialogue based on whether you have a boy or girl. Incredible. - Worst issue of them all - items fall through the ground making them impossible to recover. Anytime you break something to collect items, they fall out onto the ground for you to pick up. Roughly 30% of the time they will clip through the floor, making them impossible to get. Your success in the game depends on being able to pick up items. If its almost the end of the day and you can't pick up that $20 item that just dropped to pay off your debt, its game over. If you need to drop something from your inventory to make room for something else, there's a good chance that first item will clip through the ground and you're never getting it back. This one issue makes the game unplayable on the Switch. I'm giving it a 2 as the premise is interesting and the game has potential, it's just entirely squandered. Try it on Steam if you must play it, at least you can get the 2-hour refund there unlike the eShop.

A very simple, but fun game. Has some challenge to it, and your familiarity with the game mechanics really let you break out of what the expected paths are, which is where the real fun of the game is. I never expected to sink so many hours into what is a pretty short but shockingly replayable game.
