A hidden gem! Elminage Original contains huge variety of different classes and races to choose from. It also features many elaborate labyrinths (indoor and outdoor) to explore. This game may not be for everyone due to it's old school dungeon crawler design and punishing difficulty. but for me the games challenge is what created such a great sense of accomplishment. Especially after forming you're own unique 6 character party and succeeding... (finally). Fans of hardcore dungeon crawlers such as Wizardry and a bards tale will love this game. 9/10

Elminage Original isn't for fans of Etrian Odyssey. It's for fans of the Dark Spire. This game will not hold your hand. You're thrown into the deep end and expected to swim. If you do, you'll be greatly rewarded for it. Elminage has everything I love in a DC: minimalist plot, great characters, NPC dungeon encounters, and sublime music. It's a tough ride, but all the more enjoyable once you manage to adjust. If Gothic burned you, don't put the series off. The original is really the best.

Very old school game! I enjoyed it. It was challenging to level up and find objects. My only issue was there is absolutely no instructions! It would be better if there was a help file or something.
