This is a great game, but I feel is a step back from the first one.
The graphics improved and got worse at the same same time. Special effects and animations got better, while character model and colours got worse. The biggest miss for me is the single player content, it’s very reduced from the first one, but there’s still plenty to do. Great roster, but no GT.

This is My Favourite DBZ game. It has a low skill floor making it easy for someone to just pick up and play but at the same time it has a very high skill ceiling, There is a huge roster the biggest Ive seen since Budokai Tenkaichi 3, there are plenty of ways to upgrade and strengthen your characters, and with no Microtransaction Lootbox ****'s all unlocked with in game currency...Thats how it should be done. The Soundtrack is really good even if the English Version's is just ripped from Budokai Tenkaichi 2, there. Difficulty is fair on Strong you get just the right amount of engaging challenge on strong and youll really get a run for your money on the very strong, difficulty. Truly worth your money if you can find a copy I highly reccommend getting this game

Nota 8.2

Ok, so this gmae gets a lot of hate while the budokai tenkaichi series get praised to high heaven. I havn't played any of the BT games but I know for a fact that Raging blast 2 does not deserve all the hate. The game has a good vareity of characters to pick from and all of them play a little differently, with unqiue signiture moves and supers. The lack of story mode doesn't really bother me because it'll basically be the same story we've had in every other DBZ game. Over all, the game is good and meant to be played in small doses. The fighting system is good, the characters look good and the gameplay modes are good. Nothing is spectacular but the game is still fun to play.

Something for a rainy day... I don't often have high hopes for Dragonball games now, but I did for raging blast 2. How wrong I was. another game taking you through each saga with multiple characters, only this time its even more dull. you jump straight into fights, no cutscenes, just tons of fights for each character which mostly are fun and interesting when handicaps are involved, but spamming seems to be the only method for the 'Ultimate' difficulty matches. unlocking characters is straightforward, and as usual gaining capsules and abilities to attach to your customs makes life easier. Its such a pity that we haven't seen another budokai style fighting game since the PS2. it feel like these games are being whipped up too quickly without consideration of what us, the users want. Overall good to play with friends and to use your favourite DB characters, but nothing new or interesting. 6/10

....okay wait a minute. In Kid Gohan's Galaxy Mode from Raging Blast 2, I have to fight both Future and Ultimate Gohan in HARD difficulty in a Near Death Health Bar (one hit and your dead).....ummm, how am I suppose to dodge this? Well this truly wonderful, what a great game this is. *sarcasm* Alright, I will admit that this isn't such a terrible DBZ game, but I was expecting A LOT of great things from it. Sadly this wasn't at all what I was hoping for. DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is the best DBZ fighter's I've ever played in my opinion, but after the years of hoping for Budokai Tenkaichi 4, every year there is a DBZ game that just can't over-shadow it. Raging Blast 2 surprised me that more characters were finally put in, but this game doesn't have the Story Mode, instead its the Galaxy Mode where random challenges come around and most of them are IMPOSSIBLE to beat. Honestly, I cannot handle it much longer. The battle modes and characters were pretty cool even though Tenkaichi 3 has more than this, but the challenge to the Galaxy Mode is just too complicated to me, as well as not putting in a Story Mode. But this game is NOWHERE as terrible to something like DBZ Kinect.

Yeah...I tried liking this game, I really tried. The combat is hard to master, the music keeps repeating, but the only good part of this game is that Hatchiyack from the OVA finally makes an appearance. That only makes me keep this game. That's all I could say. If you're a true DBZ game I say go ahead and purchase this game. Eventually you may figure out the fighting controls better than me.

This game really takes what you expect from the DBZ universe and puts it in a game. The fighting sequences are incredible and the action is simple enough to get in on the action but advanced controls are so compelling you can really separate the men from the boys. The game is lacking GT and regular Dragonball characters but the game is still fun from the get-go.

The latest Dragonball Z game has been subject to some harsh criticism, most of which I would say is a bit exaggerated. The game does suffer from a lack of modes seen in previous titles, notably the story progression from the series in the form of "sagas". The player has the choice of Battle Zone which feels a little like an Arcade mode, and Galaxy Mode which is a string of fights for each character. There isn't a lot of variety which is a shame. However that aside I would say this a very good package for any fan of Dragonball Z. The combat is fast, and the cut-scenes are framed in an exciting manner that make the player feel like they are in the cartoon. There are tonnes of characters to unlock and you can get great replayability with or without friends in creating dream match ups, or recreating fights from the series. For fans of Dragonball Z who are looking for some fun I would highly recommend this game, but it's probably going to be hit and miss for most other people.

Dragonball raging blast 2 is a fighting game based on the dragonball anime series. Many peoples' main knock against this game is it's "shallow fighting system". I totally and blatantly disagree. It is such a deep fighting game that I feel that its' steep learning curve makes it appear shallow. You have so many options in this game. Ya, sure it may not be the kind of deep traditional fighters are in a way where you have to memorize strings and strings of buttons in order to pull off the best combos, but this doesn't necessarily mean it isn't deep. If one goes throught the tutorials one will learn that the fighting mechanics are in deed very very deep if you take the time to learn them and realize this isn't a traditional fighter. There are so many subtleties and options you have in fight , that I am really bothered by the fact that this game's fighting system is considered shallow especially when you take into consideration the range of movement you have compared to a traditional fighter like tekken or street fighter. It's just as deep, ujust in a different way. In order to make a fighter that shows off what a dbz character can do, certain elements are a necessity. The online is great, there are good game modes, and most importantly, the customization of characters' moves before a fight is great. Two ss1 gokus can fight each other and be totally different. The onle real negative I have to say is the story mode is kind of weak in that there are no cut scenes or anything, but they do offer quite a bit of variety in the types of fights you must do. Underrated game that I know will continue to be underrated. All in all, if you give it a chance, I fully believe you will be happy you took the time to try it out. I haven't met one person who played the game and didn't like it.

This game has the most value if you were a big fan of the anime at any point in your life. The battles retain the intensity and over-the-top nature of the battles from the show without the 3 episodes of filler in which the dueling fighters take turns swapping threatening monologues. The mechanics are not perfect, but the fighting and destruction effects are true to the show aka you can warp behind an opponent's limp body and slam him into a mountain or building and then obliterate him with an energy blast. The controls are simple, the fighting is fast paced, and if you can get past the fact that the game is not as tightly balanced as Tekken or Street Fighter then you will definitely find something to enjoy.
