I am not going to lie, I got this game out of nostalgia for Doraemon, its one of those anime that I grew up with. The game play itself is very similar to all the farming game but the mini game is what makes it fun. Its very, very relaxing, and I am definitely a bit biased due to the after mention nostalgia. Voice over is great, and no romance, since the characters are from a different world with story already set in. Performance and Graphic is very good, not for everyone but for me, I love it.

The graphics are really nice and the game play is not bad. But, this game suffers from "Japanese **** syndrome" of making cut-scenes last for 7 hours with zero impact on story. For example, the starting scene lasted for 1 hour, give or take 10 mins (and no, I am not exaggerating). It constantly takes you out of game play for some pointless cut-scene that lasts for a long **** time. Thank the gods some cut scenes are skippable. This is my second dive into "Harvest Moon" series, my first one being on an old GBA game, can't remember which one. I don't care about the "No marriage" option which a lot of people seems pissed about. Can't even remember if the GBA game had it or not as I didn't care. I do not know much about Doraemon franchise or Harvest Moon. I bought this one 'cos the graphics looks amazing. Not pissed at the gameplay, it's actually fun. Angry at the amount of immersion breaking hour long cutscenes. To make things worse, my 1 month old puppy can come up with a better story than this crap. Remove the cutscenes and the **** story (why even bother with a story in a sim game?) and you have an amazing and relaxing game. Avoid if you actually want to play a game. Buy if pressing start and selecting "Yes" when asked to skip is your thing. P.S. In sound settings, set voice volume to Zero. Trust me, I'm doing you a huge favor here.

Perhaps the reason why I did not like this game is because I have never seen any Doraemon related media before. But even so, this game is such a drag. The main character is irritating and stupid. The introduction is incredibly long winded and boring. The farming aspects and variety have been toned down and because you're playing as that silly little boy, there are no marriage options. The graphics are impressive though and it is a really pretty game. But overall, I hope they never make a game like this again.

Fantasic Farming sim which i enjoyed very much, the games stable and very fun to play

It's so damn good. The visuals are fantastic same goes for the soundtrack. Though the cutscenes can get boring. But if you overlook that you have an incredible farming sim.

I really want to like this game, the graphics are great and you can't go too wrong with a good farming game however this is badly implemented, characters have no idea what time it is talking to you as if it was a different time of day, the controls are sometimes clunky, the foreground graphics sometimes hide things youneed to collect. Worst of all the random story sections make no sense like the trapped dog that then gets left ubtil you have leveled up your farm or the reloading of scenes just because you've had a conversation. it's rrally sloppy. excuse the typos I can't see the text I'm writing because metacritic has poorly implemened their mobile solution

Played for like 20 hours , gameplay is unique and challenging. Mini games are really fun. There is a lot of reading but it’s really thought out. Lots of stories and sort of reminds me of return to the homeland. If you want the most out of this game , watch season 1 and 2 of Doraemon on YouTube the Disney xd make. I have played almost all of the harvest moons and every story of seasons, I love this game so far. Definitely worth it.

El mejor juego de la saga story of seasons porque la ambientación, graficos y el corolido mundo de este juego son maravillosos, ademas tiene todo lo que buen story of seasons tiene,en pocas palabras no pierde la esencia y se marcan un juegazo de doraemon

Great game, very relaxing! Charming hand drawn art style that’s very well done. Great mechanics, everything you expect from a Story of Seasons game! Great story. Very hard to put down, been playing 3 hours a day since it came out, would be more if I had more time! There is little voice work/acting but the little that there is has not been translated/dubbed so voices are in Japanese still. The noise The main character makes when doing tasks, or exerting himself could get irritating for some, character says “Ei or Eh?” When swinging ax or other hand tools, it doesn’t bother me really which is good because I was concerned watching the pre-release trailer. If that does get on your nerves though you can individually control music, Sfx, or voice volume, so any sound that bothers you can be muted individually and since the voices are not dubbed and there’s so little voice work you don’t really miss out on anything by muting it. Great game over all, I just keep all my sounds on because I don’t mind and enjoy the full experience! I highly recommend!

Great story of seasons game. Enjoying it tremendously as it is very relaxing and easy going. Don’t mind the exclusion of marriage either.

Very run, relaxing game. All the elements of a typical Story of Seasons, minus the romance. Art direction is fantastic, performance is mostly solid. Highly recommended.
