Dishonored was an incredible accomplishment—a game that offered stylish murder and great storytelling in equal measure. It accomplished everything that it set out to do and made it look easy, while games all around it failed to impress. Three years later, nothing in its genre has come close.

I regret not having played Dishonored when it originally came out, because the Definitive Edition looks like time has been standing still for the last three years, at least when the PS4 version (which does not offer 60 fps, by the way) is concerned. [11/2015, p.52]

Dishonored: Definitive Edition is (still) a very imaginative and exciting action-adventure. Stealth is rarely this varied and interesting. [Oct 2015]

With stealth games, you want flexibility in how you kill or stealth through missions, where it can play out in various ways, yet Dishonoured, a known stealth game, lacks this. First off, you can't move enemies while knocking them out, but only after they are unconscious, which has led to some frustrating encounters. Then it's pretty standard in stealth games that you can either go guns blazing or go completely stealth, but in this game, there are no fun tricks in between, like in Metal Gear Solid 5, where they introduced the Idroid, which added so much chaos and flexibility to the game, let alone all the other features in that game that dwarf **** more importantly, these characters are boring. I don't care about saving Emily. So I don't see the point in continuing.

Corvo is one of the best protagonists and the plot/backstory given to him is just perfect. The antagonists are very memorable, the powers are strategic and skill based, the added environmental story telling of the rat plague is just serene and perfect story telling in a dark way. The environment is one of the most immersive games I've every played.

Dishonored remains one of the best stealth games of the last generation. The main story along with the inclusion of all of the add-ons can offer up to 30 hours of utterly satisfying gameplay. Combined with the improved visuals, the city of Dunwall deserves everyone’s attention.

From a great game you can only have a great remaster. Dishonored has never looked this good on consoles and this remaster is just mandatory for anyone who hasn't yet played this masterpiece, although it doesn't have anything new.

Dishonored is clearly one of the best game ever made, there is so much to say about it but i'll content myself to say that the game succed everything he tries which are gameplay, story, level design, soundtrack... This game is perfect.

It effortlessly switches from tense stealth to tactical but speedy combat, managing to put most games in both genres to shame in the process.

While the Definitive Edition doesn't particularly bring anything new to the table, nor does it enhance the original game as much as other titles that made the jump from last-to-current-gen, Dishonored luckily has a great foundation that helped ease this transition.

Dishonored: Definitive Edition is a game that should definitely be on your bucket list if you missed it on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, but it might as well be called a Collector's Edition if you've already been on this journey before.

I liked the original Dishonored version and I'm very exiting for the new title: Dishonored 2. But Dishonored: Definitive Edition is a complete disaster with low frame-rates and bad graphics. You may skip this one.

Dishonored: Definitive Edition on PS4 is a masterpiece of stealth-action gameplay that is sure to satisfy fans of the genre. This definitive edition of the game brings with it all of the original content, as well as all of the DLC released for the game. With stunning graphics and smooth, responsive controls, Dishonored is an immersive experience that is sure to keep players engaged from start to finish. The story is well-written and engaging, with a complex plot that is full of twists and turns. The characters are well-developed and have their own motivations, which adds depth to the story. The game's level design is exceptional, with each level providing multiple paths to completion. This allows players to approach the game in a variety of ways, whether they prefer to take a stealthy approach or go in guns blazing. One of the standout features of Dishonored is the game's emphasis on player choice. The game allows players to make decisions that affect the story and the world around them. These decisions can have far-reaching consequences, making each playthrough a unique experience. This makes the game highly replayable, as players can go back and make different choices to see how they affect the story. Overall, Dishonored: Definitive Edition on PS4 is a must-play game for fans of the stealth-action genre. With its stunning graphics, well-written story, and emphasis on player choice, the game is an immersive experience that is sure to keep players engaged for hours on end. The game's replayability also makes it a great value, as players will want to come back and experience the game in different ways. For all of these reasons, Dishonored: Definitive Edition on PS4 earns a perfect score of 10/10.

There really are no excuses for this 30FPS port. Presented as the 'Definitive Edition' of the game, the only thing 'Definitive' is the fact it includes all of the DLC. Note, this review reflects this version of the game. It barely runs better than the last generation versions on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and doesn't even match the original version on PC at max settings. As well as not looking as good as it should, it runs at 30fps and drops below that at times. There are audio issues prevalent when viewing cut-scenes and other minor technical issues. With this in mind, my PC that would be good in 2010 (but below average by today's standards) can run this game at maxed settings at 1080p and 60fps. (GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz.) This hardware is much weaker than the PS4's hardware - so why does it succeed where the PS4 doesn't? It is simply because of a lazy port, there is no other reason. Do not support this new trend of remastering last generation games that don't run as well as they should. The game itself is great. Get it on PC because your PC could probably run it better than your PS4.
