I'm enjoying Cytus II a lot so far, and it's definitely my new favorite musical rhythm game. I'm in love with the anime art style, and the music is quirky, upbeat, and catchy. The game's tutorial is helpful in terms of showing you what to do with each note type, and controls are simple. I recommend playing with your device on a table or other flat surface, so it's easier to see upcoming notes without your hands blocking your view. I just wish that the price for the other two characters were cheaper.

Cytus II is a darn good one, building on what its makers have previously accomplished and wrapping it in a slick package. Even if you don't surrender to its story, you just might to the music. Just be sure to limber up those fingers first, because they're going to be moving.

Cytus II - 9.8 / 10 {highly recommend} Simply the best mobile game I had the opportunity to play. It literally raises the bar, and shows how deep a game of music can be. Each exclusive song is great, the gameplay is unique and challenging, it's very addictive. But the highlight of Cytus, besides clear of art, is its complex, deep, immersive and thought-provoking story. Each character has his story, his own style of music, and you develop empathy for each of them, and in addition their stories connect with time. This game is so unique and complete that it is almost perfect. I can't give a 10 because Rayark is literally a mafia, they make amazing games, but they fill them with paid things that don't are cheap, and this is very present in Cytus II, even if you pay for the base game, there are still a lot of paid characters and music packs, including the Capso system, and that’s just annoying, and I consider it disrespectful to the gaming community. Meantime, even if you only have the base game, you will play a LOT, and it will take at least 50 hours to complete. I also missed of more videos over the course of history, which ends up being 95% or more script and reading, and the small percentage remaining of videos. Despite these problems, your experience with the base game will not be affected, so I can't lower the grade, and really, this masterpiece deserves a very high note, because it is almost a perfect game.

It is a wonderful smartphone screen shredder. The plot attracts quite a bit of attention because of its presentation. It's a shame that there are no such artists as MafuMafu or Reol. But what we have is what we have. The downside is that the game has a lot of monetization in the form of transactions on characters or soundpacks. Rayark We did a lot of work to create and support the game, but all this is leveled out by not very good optimization. So on Android devices it often freezes or crashes, even if the device has a processor Quallcomm Snapdragon or the like.

I was a huge fan of the first Cytus, and I can safely say that Cytus II is better in almost every way. The game offers a new difficulty level with Chaos, providing a better challenge for those who found the first game too easy. The art and UI feels clean and professional. Surprisingly, the game has an actual story, and a very engaging one at that. My only main complaint is the price of DLC. I don't mind paying 2 dollars for the game itself, but 10 dollars per DLC character is a bit of a deterrent.

The game itself is the best rhythm game on mobile. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the full game with all DLC costs almost €200, a very heafty price tag for not that much.
