Crackdown 3 wastes its potential in both the woefully boring campaign and the completely uninteresting, barely functional multiplayer. The open-world city is just as empty as the game itself.

We can't recommend Crackdown 3 in good faith. It has its moments, but you need to be a fan of uncomplicated run'n'gun gameplay to enjoy them – and even then, the action takes way too long to pick up. [Issue#236, p.42]

After such a glacial wait, it's not unreasonable to expect more. Still, in spite of its pared-back ambitions, it is such a chorus line of brainless, sugar rush thrills, you'll rarely be anything less than entertained. Let's just hope we don't have to wait until 2024 for Crackdown 4 to arrive. [Issue#225, p.65]

Again call me bland and old school, but this is another example in the series that shows how to soup up an already wonderful game. True it feels more like the first game, but it has all the vibes, colours, graphics and in your fac action that would be expected of a Xbox One-era game. I kind of felt like it was like Agents of Mayhem, but with more oomph. The controls have been tweaked and I felt more at home during combat. The mixture of life-like cutscenes coupled with better cel shading is refreshing. The story is interesting, if not better, than the mutant invasion we got in the second game, but every chracter you encounter is quirky and off the wall, but in a kind of way that you still want to keep playing and bringing down the bad guys. And for once you can play as both male and female agents (more are unlocked as the game progresses). Finally, little tweks in the HUD make navigation a lot more easier, mainly the mini map and overhead compass. This is one of the best and exclusive open world, crime-fighting, 3rd person shooters for the Xbox One, and offers a lot of fun if you enjoyed the 1st two games.

I remember when Crackdown 3 was getting released it was major news about how much Terry Cruise wanted to make a video game for his son to play together with, so he basically did the development of Crackdown 3 in order to play with his son. This sacrificed the overall game quality as it made the difficulty absurdly easy such as literally having aimbot, and also the kid central game design other than the mature themes and cursing, which aren't even the game but a story/lore thing. You can tell they really made the game like a kids game because of how the map and powerups were designed too. You gotta explore little random off sections in the open world map to get these floating orbs that give you bonus xp for set skills and level **** the game at least had more of a interactive fighting, it wouldve been a bit more fun. You can play without the aimbot but the shooting is not even satisfying, AND YOU CANT HEADSHOT CRITS IN AN FPS?! The game was also pretty buggy. It is a bit old now... but there were some graphical glitches. I think this is a large part due to the xbox pc app though, noticed some games are like this rarely

Jumping, driving is so much fun. You can feel you are getting stronger and stronger with the power ups in this game. Also it is so much fun driving. The bad thing is you are doing same things over and over and over..

This is a good and relaxing game for older gamers who want to unwind and enjoy a fast paced world that is also casual, either alone or with friends. ‘Crackdown 3’ is perfect for anyone who only has short amounts of time to spare or is looking for a game with lots of replay value.

Terry Crews is here, but he isn't given a chance to really steal the show. (Which is what we know he does best.) It isn't well organized, when it comes to missions and following the story. What is available works well enough, but it doesn't do anything to really set itself apart in a way you would expect from a AAA, first-party game.

Es un buen juego , aunque si es verdad que no inova , eso también es culpa de la comunidad , querían que se pareciara al primer , eso intentaron

Crackdown 3 is an old school game that doesn't do anything to sound fresh and new. Sometimes it's fun, but in the long run it's just out of this timeline.

The game isn’t the visual masterpiece one would expect from a AAA production, but it isn’t without its charm. It’s with Wrecking Zone that Sumo Digital stretches their wings thanks to the chaos of destructible environments, but the glaring lack of content and missing features makes it more of a curiosity rather than a fully fleshed out mode.

Crackdown 3 is certainly a mixed bag, what with a fun campaign mode that does come off a bit dated bogged down by a lackluster multiplayer mode that didn’t need to be included. However, it’s hard to argue against the Xbox Game Pass option, and Crackdown 3 is certainly worth the asking price for that program. I wouldn’t pay $60 for it, but $1.00 for the trial, or $10.00 for the monthly fee? Yeah, why not. It’s got enough to enjoy, more so if you enjoyed the original Crackdown, and won’t take up much of your time.

An unlucky product, born under a bad star, passed from hand to hand without anyone being able to fix it. A pity, but now that all the fears have been confirmed, we can at least look beyond.

App Trigger
Crackdown 3 is a severely outdated sandbox title that neither pushes boundaries or evolves itself in any way. While it puts an emphasis on gameplay, the game does the absolute bare minimum to provide any entertainment for the player and, instead, creates a 20-hour-long headache.

Plutôt fun à jouer, du moins pour la parti solo, Crackdown **** un bon défouloir sans prétentions. En revanche le multi n'est vraiment pas terrible, trop brouillon et pas amusant.

In a time where open world games like that or I guess games that are similar to GTA are starting to get tiresome and out of fashion Crackdown 3 comes in and propably being the worst of them all. The dialogue is atrocious and it is all the time to the point that is unbearable. As a third person shooter is terrible, it barely feels like you are shooting a gun. The open world is as generic and whatever as it gets and the design is not particularly eye pleasing. Extremely repetitive and outdated, terrible gameplay, the missions are boring and uninteresting.Theres no progression outside of finding some guns which most of them are useless, some gadgets that are all useless and just leveling up 4 stats that boost your damage and defence. It gives some kind of a wing suit but when you equip it you cannot carry grenades.Theres just one spot for a special ability, instead of having wing suit and grenades and a gadget at all times like Just Cause 3 for example, you must choose one of the three at a time which is a terrible idea. And if that wasn't enough, theres no menu where you can change your equipment so you need to go back to a safe zone everytime you want to change something. Then you have the typical reinforcements coming in forever like any game of this kind which is very annoying and tiresome. The story and characters are laughable, this game faking ****.

Such a disappointing game that had such much hype with it. The gameplay has barely changed since the original and the graphics are arguably worse. The open world is very bland and there is barely anything non-repetitive to do- climbing the tower was somewhat fun and the weapon variety was alright but besides from that it was mostly a disappointing game- story was also terrible. The actual multiplayer was also such a letdown as the maps were so plain and basic. The matches were fairly chaotic but again got very repetitive. Even the home menu for this game was bad.
