Since I played and enjoyed the first Cattails game. I of course had to buy and play the 2nd game as well. Since I love and adore cats and have always had a cat or 4 in my life. The game is ok, but not **** story and missions are bland. The missions consist of finding the items and prey a cat wants to be able to recruit them and you have to recruit a certain number to be able to break the seal on a dark ruin and then you have to cleanse a ruin by fighting enemies, solving the puzzles and beating the boss. There are 4 ruins which you have to cleanse before you fight the final boss. I didn't find it fun, it's rather dull and it doesn't take very long to complete. What I like most about the game is playing as an adorable cat, making friends with them all and making my cat colony how I want it and decorating my cat's den. And having **** game doesn't have any depth to it though. It mostly feels like a hunting, gathering, decorating **** has very minimal farming the most you get is 12 plots when fully upgraded and it's annoying you have to give them plant food every day and you can't plant **** has adorable touches such as when a cat is about to pounce on prey they do their little arse wiggle just like how real life cats do. And when you press escape to pause the game it says paws which is another cute **** biggest let down is the combat is terrible. It has been 4 years since I played the first game and I don't remember the combat being this bad, it makes it awkwardly difficult so I just turn the difficulty down to compensate. And let the cat I team up with do the **** would of been better to have mouse left click for attack instead of space bar.Mining is also terrible and I only did it for the achievements. Having a cat buddy is essential in this game, though they can be a bit annoying they often try to pounce on prey and miss it nearly every time. Bad to have with you when trying to hunt legendary prey. Or they attack whatever they like and you can't control them and they don't avoid damage. Only some of the cats are useful for combat. Most die very easily. I was able to get nearly all achievements by summer year 2. Having the time set to leisurely. I have nothing left to do so no way Iam playing through year 2 and 3 for achievements.I enjoy my cat colony and hunting and gathering but I'd probably rate this game negatively and not recommend if the game wasn't a cat themed game. Most of the game mechanics are rather meh. Only buy if you love and adore cats.
