An unusually exotic cake. [Aug 2014, p.93]
Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion DLC maintains that momentum by keeping the CoD online community happy with yet another drop of four entertaining maps and a challenging Extinction level. If you have already downloaded the previous two map packs, there is no reason why you shouldn’t take the plunge all over again.
Not essential, Invasion STILL does the job for the fans with cooperative and competitive games on originals and maps. But the price stays too high.

It's not zombie's... Stop trying to be like zombie's. Anyway this is a ok gamemode, just feels like it lacks alot. Although i had some fun not killing zombie's for once and actually killing something new like alien's but they failed, it just doesn't have that survival feel like zombie's.

The thing about the Call Of Duty, or COD franchise, is that it's been getting a lot of hate for something other franchises, I.E Battlefield, fail to perfect. but there at still 2 parts that every gamer can agree is a success: Riley the dawg, and the zero damn given approach to the dlc. I mean, in what other game are you sending an airstrike onto a bridge one minute, and then running about as Micheal Myers the next? Me personally, I thurilly enjoyed all the multiplayer maps, or at least the artstyle with some of them, and, of course, it brings back a fan-favourite; Favela from MW2. I also like how creative they are with their field orders, like the AC130 which is the AC130 from MW2, the Death Maraichi, and all the others. Extinction really did feel weird to me. I still enjoyed the map, but the map was still... Perplexing, with mushrooms everywhere, Gargoyles & High jumping, and although those could lead to a boatful of Easter eggs it makes even a die hard fanboy wonder if the people who made it were a little over-imaginative. not the Extinction I'm used to, but still good... for now.... In the end, Infinity ward managed to save what would be considered a sinking boat to some, but is still a welcome edition for fans. I could even say it contains some of the best maps in the entire game! so yes, it is worth the £10 and or the $15! Infinity Ward, Well Done!

Extinction mode is as strong as ever, but the real star of Invasion is the collective of welcome maps. Infinity Ward has finally learned that in order to charge $15 for five levels, it has to put forth more than a minimal effort. I'd go so far as to say that this is one of the strongest map packs in Call of Duty history, and that the Season Pass has cemented its worth already.
