Another cracking Burnout. It isn't for the weak-hearted because of the difficulty at later levels, but when it shines, oh boy, it dazzles. [Mar 2007, p.96]

Best thought of as a "Greatest Hits, but Not All of Them" from the Burnout series. The racing is just as adrenaline pumping as it's ever been...However, the lack of standard features and modes like online play and Crash are a rather big disappointment.

Even with the lack of a Crash mode and no online play, Burnout Dominator is a wise investment, even for the Burnout first-timer, especially with a $40 price tag.

This is a simple PS2 port of the PSP game. So it's lacking all the major features and graphics that one would expect from a true home console title. As a result, it's not as impressive as "Burnout 3" or "Burnout Revenge". But the gameplay is still fun despite the smaller scale. I'd rate it with a 7.7 out of 10.

This is a port of a PSP game As a result, it doesn't have the scope or graphics of a true PS2 title. But despite lacking many features from "Burnout 3" and "Burnout Revenge", it's worthy enough to be a must buy for series fans. Just don't expect to be blown away by the graphics or depth. Overall, I would rate this with a 7.7 out of 10.

Adding many all-singing, all-dancing bells and whistles to an already great road racer, Dominator refined the formula that made the hugely influential series a phenomenon.

So fun, that you'll find yourself addicted in no time. The controls are simple, but the gameplay is complex and delightful to play. And the killer soundtrack just adds bounty to the beautiful.

Burnout Dominator may not revolutionize the series or even offer a significant upgrade over Revenge, but it still delivers the goods when it comes to hardcore, fast paced, killer crashing, racing action. What else could a virtual masochist want out of this series?

INCREDIBLE! SO AWESOME that did and will always be part of my childhood! EPIC I thought those graphics, and when I was speeding, and gained more and more Nitro Boost and the race. And when you hit on something?? I kept BEAT IN EVERY THING I was CRAZY WITH THAT REALISM OF DAMAGE!! Simply, I think, that car crash is MUCH MORE REALISTIC than GTA IV! Yes, I think much more realistic than GTA IV!! Nothing more to say

I actually liked Burnout Dominator for the PS2 better than Burnout 3: Takedown. This is coming from a guy who beat both games getting gold in every single event. Why I give Dominator my pick as favorite is because of it's new mode (the name skips my head since i beat it 3 years ago, could even be called "dominator" haha) where if good you can remain in boost an entire race. Nothing was more fun for me than mastering a track, and avoiding obstacles at high boost speeds, though yes there were many moments where I felt like throwing the controller at the TV.

It's still worth playing, of course, and it's a great way to bide your time until the next-gen "Burnout" hits the streets. [May 2007, p.73]

A fun and addicting arcade -racing game that fans of the series will enjoy, it’s just missing some key features that would make it a one of the series’ best, for that we’ll have to wait for the true sequel later this year.

The lack of Crash mode is a big disappointment and makes the World Tour feel a little samey. If you're after more Burnout on the PSP then this is well worth adding to your collection, but on the PS2 Burnout Revenge is by far the better option.

For the first time since taking over publishing duties for the series, Electronic Arts has released a Burnout racing game that fails to achieve must buy status.

It doesn't matter how good the rest of a game is, though, if the controls betray you just when you need them most. [May 2007, p.55]

Burnout: Dominator was a PSP game before it was ported to the PS2. Much like GTA: Liberty City Stories, it suffers from the translation. This was meant to be a mobile game, not a console title. As a result, it is a huge stepdown from the previous two games. I remember enjoying it, but also feeling that a lot was missing. Fun, but a non-essential entry in the series. I would rate this with a 7.7 out of 10.

I throught Burnout 3 is worst Burnout, but I was wrong . Now I think Burnout Dominator is worst Burnout . Terrible Graphics for 2007, physics is **** and only good Burnout Games is Burnout Legends and Paradise, others Burnout Games are **** . I hope I don't see Burnout worse . Burnout Dominator is very terrible on PS2, on PSP BD is betterthan on PS2 because screen on PSP is smaller and difficult discarn terrible graphics and physics .
