Blacklight: Tango Down's main draw is the customizable weapons, which would be pretty awesome... if any of the attachments amounted to anything. Other than that, it's a fairly basic online FPS with clichéd story, ranks, level unlocks, different game modes, some varied (but boring) maps, and a single-player mode that nobody cares about. There are far better FPS games on the 360, but there are far worse, too.

The game is fun. However, its sequel, Blacklight Retribution, is FAR ahead of it, plus Blacklight Retribution is free, and has a very HIGH, playerbase, unlike Blacklight Tango Down did.

BlackLight: Tango Down is hand down, the worst first person shooter I've ever played. Something to mention before I start the actual review is that BlackLight: Tango Down plays worse than Modern Warfare 2, and trust me, that's saying something. The Graphics are muddy, poorly done, and hard to look at, even though it's using the unreal engine. The weapon customization is superb, but most of the attachments are useless, and the weapons are balanced so badly that the only weapon you'll ever need is the SMG. The maps are claustrophobic, poorly made, and promote spawn camping, and due to the graphical issues I mentioned above, make it hard to see where you're going. The amount of spawn camping found in this game is horrendously common, and it's exceedingly rare to find a game without spawn camping. Overall, I'd avoid it. Go for something else.
