Bionicle (2003)
The levels are entertaining to a degree, and retain interest for most of the game, but when inching towards the end with only two or so bosses remaining it becomes a chore that isn’t as rewarding as the work put forth to finish.

While the variety of playable characters is a welcome addition to the genre, there is little else to recommend this action game. [Dec 2003, p.148]

Not good. Isometric platformers are difficult to get right. Care has to be given to the context surrounding objects, otherwise it's not possible to determine their exact position in isometric space. This game does not excel in this department. You repeatedly have to make leaps of faith over instant-death pits white attempting to land on objects whose exact position is impossible to discern. Likewise there are platforms you have to jump to which are simply off-screen. You just have to know the solution to get it. The rest of the gameplay is unsatisfying. Not worth your time.

The 3D perspective is a bit disorienting and it makes the platforming a bit hard, however, the impressive music and graphics make up for it.
