Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions is more of an arcadey boxing game, not so much a simulation compared to the Fight Night series, and it does have some of its own merit. On top of using characters from the Creed/Rocky series, including Rocky, Adonis and Apollo Creed, Ivan and Viktor Drago, and Clubber Lang, it features a colourful cast of original boxers, with some favourites including Erik Erling, Hector Del Rosario, and Luke O'Grady (more for a comedic side). Characters can do a few different options of quick punches, power punches, grabs, and a powerful super move. Characters belong to one of three archetypes, General (A jack of all trades boxer), Swarmer (Faster fighters who don't quite hit as hard, but make up for it with fast combos), or Sluggers (Power punchers who don't have a big of a range of combos). Rounds last one minute a piece, and fights can be won by either scoring more knockdowns once all rounds end, you deal more damage come the end of the final round, or you lower the opponent's health bar 4 times within a fight. Fighters can also stun an opponent if they block too much, causing a guard break, or launch them against the ropes. You have access to a 1 VS 1 mode, or arcade mode, acting as a small, non-canon story to the Creed/Rocky story. For arcade, the balance is very weird. In the easiest difficulty, I had some fights that were an absolute struggle, and others were I didn't break a sweat. The AI for certain enemies is weird, either being very dumb, or always having a counter for your techniques with no valid explanation. There is also this training mini game, which doesn't really do too much, aside from window dressing between fights, but act as an easter egg to Rocky fans (including a mini game where you hit a slab of meat in a freezer, with specific button presses). The game is presented in a more cartoony artstyle, which helps make it more unique than sports games using the real life scans of athletes. Though some models look rough, mostly the ones based off real people. Overall, if you want something quick and easy, to scratch that Ready to Rumble itch, Creed Champions fulfills that goal mostly. But I'd recommend Ready to Rumble instead.

If you are looking for an easy boxing game skip this one. The easy mode is hard. The block button doesnt respond in time. Even if you try to dodge you'll get hit. I really don't see anything positive about that game.

Overall Score: 7.5. Big Rumbie Boxing: Creed Champions is a good arcade styled boxing game. It has good mechanics, very good gameplay and has a great arcade mode, but it lacks other modes and there's not much. Overall however, this is a very fun game.
