Beyond Space is a gorgeous, competent and engaging space shooter that fans of Wing Commander and old space fighter simulators will love.

Beyond Space's gameplay is good, but its production values are out of this world.

Beyond Space is a fun shooter that will supply a couple of hours of shallow enjoyment. The linear story, lack of customization and multiplayer certainly don’t knock the current space shooter king of the throne. Still Beyond Space has the controls, and looks that make it worth considering if you are looking to blast lasers into enemies in space.

Beyond Space's gameplay doesn't quite hit the lofty level of its incredible graphics, but it's no slouch as a space shooter, either.

Beyond Space puts all of its eggs in the wrong basket, focusing on it hackneyed story rather than its enjoyable combat.
