Players of Spacetime Studios' other mobile games may wish to take a few minutes to familiarize themselves with how Arcane Legends functions. There are differences. It may be slight enough to ignore in the early levels, but if you don't like to die, you'll need to pay attention. The game is in its early stages of growth and may be missing some features, but it is totally playable and absolutely fun.

This application is perhaps one of the most detailed games that one has ever seen on a mobile device. First, it is a big game that downloads new sections as users go along. Second, it is a true massive multi-player game (MMO) that offers both cooperative and player versus player combat. Third, even with over a dozen other users in the same area, there was no discernible lag. Finally, characters are free to join teams and guilds, but must pay to create new guilds.

Those turned off by Dark Legends will find a brighter, happier, and better experience with Arcane Legends.

Fans of Spacetime Studios' previous mobile games won't need any convincing to pick up this latest epic cooperative RPG, and they can rest assured that Arcane Legends packs in all of the features they've come to expect. For everyone else, this represents the most accessible game from the studio to date, and you may find themselves drawn in far deeper than you'd have expected.

While Arcane Legends may feel like a small step back for the franchise in spite of it's positive and innovative elements, it's still fun and provides one of the best mobile MMORPG experiences you can find on Android or iOS.
