Aquaria

Aquaria is a great 2D adventure in the mold of Metroid, perfect for any gamer who loves a hefty dose of exploration with their action.

I am amazed at the amount of detail that has gone into developing this game.

Overwhelmingly refreshing.

While this elegant underwater world may be a little too twee for some players, then, there are still plenty of reasons to dip into Bit Blot's inventive genre piece. Aquaria's as personable on the iPad as it was on the PC and Mac, and now you can cross the oceans on your morning commute.

A beautiful underwater adventure - the four-year wait was worth it.

The graphics are really beautiful, employing a cool color palette to replicate the coolness of the water.

It looks lovely, and while you're on track it's all very – yes – nice, but it could have been something much more compelling.
