There are some predictable relationship issues that are introduced between a few characters that are more than a little groan-worthy in how cliche they are. Those few issues aside, Finding Carter hits the ground running with an extremely compelling pilot.

Labyrinth takes way too long to hit the ground running and introduce the actual story, so part 1 is confusing and fails to get viewers to care about both the past and present storylines.
