Overall, “Off Campus” is a wonderful addition to the wildly popular YA romance genre — and a worthy successor to Prime Video megahit “The Summer I Turned Pretty.” And while fans of the OG books might not love the way in which certain scenes (or even characters) were re-written, when comparing the two, a lot of the rewritten beats flow more naturally for the characters.

It appears “Outlander” is sticking to its usual formula and giving viewers exactly what they came here for: New villains that get under your skin, inevitable battles where our heroes come just close enough to death, a couple of tragic moments, some time jumps, and best of all, a still-passionate love story for the ages. .... This late in the game, Balfe and Heughan have perfected this on-screen relationship.

“The Beauty” is one of the most captivating shows Murphy has released in a long while, invoking previous hits like “American Horror Story,” “Nip/Tuck” and “Pose.” It’s a sci-fi body horror that, despite comparisons, will likely win over fans of “The Substance.”

While Harjo has gone on record to say his influences for the show range from films like “The Long Goodbye” to shows like “Atlanta,” The Lowdown also exudes a particularly Lynchian vibe. Maybe it’s the presence of Kyle MacLachlan, or the number of coffees consumed at the diner, but this latest Harjo creation invokes “Twin Peaks” in the very best ways.

It would have been nice to include a few more clips from past interviews to get more of an understanding of his take on the show. That said, there’s rarely an ill word spoken of him throughout both episodes, so maybe it’s not entirely necessary. “Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action” is clearly made for everyone who chose to spend a few hours now and then watching the worst of humanity bare its soul on national television in the 90s.

It’s a compelling spin on a problematic trope (work romance between people with a significant gap in power dynamic), but does it work? The answer is: Sort of.
