I really enjoyed this series because it gave a lot of insight to techniques used to manipulate murderers who go with the " no comment " line and lawyer up. It gets under the skin of the killers in so many different ways and methods. The entire series takes place in an interrogation room so if you lack the ability to absorb a show without violence, car chases and sex then I suggest you take a pass and stick to the bubble gum BS.

I watched this attempt at a series and was waiting for something to happen the entire show. I figured it out during the credits when I saw that Dern was writer and producer. It appears she wanted a star power series with all that Ben Harper money but she never was a star. A spiritual journey that you should take a pass on because it's a slow road to nowhere with Derns weird mouth and limited acting abilities fully evident.

How do critics pan this show and keep their jobs. It has great writing and acting and is genuinely funny and interesting. I used to watch it on web prior to release and saw great potential. They cut out a lot of the great scenes with Bob Balabon and others but I still really enjoy the characters they decided to develop.

This year is even better than the first and Louie C.K. is exploring new boundaries in dream scene comedy and visceral life experiences. I can't praise this show enough for anyone who has a love of sophisticated or gutter humor. Funny is funny and this man can bring it in many levels.
