I have put a considerable amount of time into this game. If you like an old school turn based strategy game you cant go wrong. This game is addictive and is fairly easy to get used to. Newcomers shouldnt be overwhelmed too long learning the controls and gameplay. The only reason for the 8 is the fact that this is not going to be on the top of your list in your collection of games. I think this game is worth getting if you like strategy and turn based games.
This game needs some attention. Communication is broken in multiplayer it is very hard to connect to an online lobby. The game is fun when working properly. The game has plenty of good qualities and it will keep you entertained as long as its working. I think this is a high risk buy I wouldnt take the risk unless you have played this game last gen. The graphics are a little better next gen but the biggest difference is there are missions to take on and there is more content. This game is played when your gamed out on all of your go to games. So its a change up game. This is a simulation game if you dont like simulation games dont buy it and dont complain. This game delivers on that front of being what its intended to be. Plenty of things to do in the game literally the game can be non ending. The addition of multiplayer raises the value a little bit. I enjoy the game but again for me this is a solid change up game when I am gamed out of my other go to games. Sames maps as last year. Graphics are better, game performs better, and there are more additions and equipment and missions to the game. This game comes up a few strokes over par. I probably see it as a triple bogey. There isnt nearly enough put in this game to justify spending 60 dollars on it. At any price this game just takes up hard drive space where there should be another game sitting there to choose from. The game needs to be more challenging in an hour you can master the field of opponents. Additional content is over priced and lacking. The graphics are average at best. I would say batman arkham Knight is a good game, not quite great but a solid buy. I have played every game in the series I cannot say the addition of the batmobile was a homerun because it does become over used after a while. I wish they would have added all of the vehicles into this game and made it more expansive. The dlc content is worth a look at. The story delivers at times but I feel was the weakest point. The graphics are very good along with the sound. The gameplay and controls are easy to handle and this game at times provides a decent challenge. This game is not a must have but it does have a decent replay value with the additional skins and other content offered. Like every other game people love to hate on things alot. Every gamer is different I have put in probably 200 hours in on the game since its release. So here is my breakdown. Graphics-9 Sound-10 Gameplay-10 Story-8 Multiplayer-7 Replay Value-10 Overall-9.7 I do have things I would change but in my opinion this is a must have game for xbox one owners. Metal gear did take a new direction and I think the risk paid off if they have a future past phantom pain. I cannot believe how many terrible reviews I have read but you have that with every game. I love the strategy involved with this game. The game is very beatable I would say the difficulty is moderate but the challenge can be adjusted to suit your play style. The story is out there a ways I enjoy parts of the story but I would have liked it to be better. Multiplayer needs work badly nice idea but needs a major tweak. All in all I think The witcher 3 and Metal gear are the best experiences available right now for the xbox one. Metal gear has a high replay value because it takes a while to beat the game and there is alot of depth in the game to chose from with strategy. I kept finding myself wanting to start over which I have and the game is just as enjoyable playing again. How this game gets below a 7 on any review is very funny in my opinion taking the worst issues with the game and blowing them out of proportion a 7 is what I would expect. There are some fixes that need to be made but this game was very well made and lived up to its hype.
I like the direction madden took this year but there are some things that need attention. MUT is growing and the addition of draft champions was a good idea for the series hopefully they continue it. I do understand some of the negative feedback but these additions to the passing game add depth to the gameplay. If they throw it deep play good D dont complain because someone goes over the top like an idiot all the time. Most players I have encountered are sporting players so dont listen to the **** response of players throwing bombs all the time. Connected franchise is still a solid mode and I think they made it deeper and more fun. They still have much work to do in the future but it is worth the up grade.
This is a definite win situation for your value as a gamer. The attention to detail and the work put into this game exceeded my expectations. The witcher 3 delivers a great story, characters, enemies, and quests. The more I play this game the more I like it. The game does have a few flaws but what game doesnt? Skyrim is a great rpg as well but this game stands alone on the next gen concoles and sets a very high standard for the future of value for gamers. If you do the secondary quests and take witcher contracts it fits the whole story perfectly, no adventure is a waste of time. This game takes decision making and story telling to a very high level and gives this game a very high replay value. The positives vastly out weigh the negatives and it shows in the reviews.
Reason why this game is an 8 and not a 10 is simple. Terrible launch and it took a year to get the game running right that is why I waited to write a review. Game is immersive and fun to play. Im being very generous but this game is a 10. CFM is the best there are a few areas that need attention but this game is fun. Best franchise mode out of any sports game . CFM is vast and keeps you looking forward to each game and each draft and so on. Graphics are the best by far. I hope they take another giant step in the madden series there are some areas need attention but this is the best madden to date and is a great building block for this franchise.
Like most I expected a longer prequel for the money but the game looks and plays beautifully. 0, really, just not true im just as upset about the length as anyone else but its at least an 8 or a 9 the reason for the 7 is I wanted more and I was mad when I got bored playing it. just wait for phantom pain metal gear fans the future is exciting ground zeroes was a fun little reveal around the corner.
I have heard its just another fighting game I have seen some absolutely terrible reviews that make no sense. The truth is this is another fighting game and its a very good one. The game runs very smooth if you have played mortal kombat you can jump right into this game. Story mode and the different game modes are constructed well and perform well. There are loads of content and yes some are pointless and boring but lets be honest its keeps you going. The reason why this game is a 9 is because there should have been more content at launch instead of holding so much back for the dlc. The dlc content coming looks great but that was a huge mistake because by the time the last dlc launches the game may not have a high replay value because many players may have already got their time and moneys worth. This is still a great game looks good on the xbox and runs well if you love fighting games this is the best one out there right now that I have seen. Mortal kombat itself is great and has been for years and this game is an example of that.
Not a very polished addition to the series. Still a fun builder with plenty to do but not I believe this game falls very short in some areas. very little customization options for your leader and I expected a lot more additions that were simply not there. I still think the leap to xboxone is something to look forward too still a fun game to pass the time and is still interesting. The reason I gave it a 6 is because it simply did not deliver many additions and it just doesn't feel like a full game from tropico 4.
Great addition to a great simulation series. I did expect more additions and fine tuning this year and that is why I rated this game a 7. I am mainly a franchise game mode player and this game still delivers a great simulation of the game of baseball. No doubt the show is still at the top of baseball simulation games ever. Graphics are better than last year not by a lot but still better. There are some new animations as well but again I think this game should have been polished better I think the franchise fell short putting out a jaw dropping game for the next gen console that fans have been waiting for. This is still a great game for baseball fans and I am hoping for bigger steps next year.
How can you give this game anything lower than a 10. They should have a scale to 13 for this game. High replay value. Probably the best turn based strategy game I have ever played. 2k games needs to continue this series on next gen consoles. I hope they take what is good from this game and keep making it better. This game is in the top 5 xbox games I have ever played and I still play it 2 years later.
This is a great game the only reason why I gave it an 8 is because they need way more depth in multiplayer. At times it can be fun but for the most part it is repetitious and boring. The graphics are decent and the single player is fun to play. I am actually shocked at how many low reviews this game had I think this is the best dragon age in the series by far and I think the series is headed in the right direction.
I have been a battlefield fan for a while and I feel I am reviewing a completely different shooter. I gave this game an honest 7 but I feel if you are a battlefield player stick with battlefield 4 this game has some great game modes in multiplayer and is a good change of pace game to battlefield 4. I have personally tried to find a reason to rate this game higher but I cant find it. I can only play this game for a couple hours at a time and I still believe that bf4 is the better game.
