The typical atheist and Bible hater will probably not like this film; however, for the rest of us it was an awesome work of art. It draws inspiration from the story of Genesis while not taking the story as too literal, and adding special effects and fantasy to the narrative. If you are willing to accept that the producers and director meant to do that then you will enjoy this film. Crowe and Connelly's acting is superb as well as Hopkins.

This movie was a great adaptation of the book, and the mostly negative reviews have come from the criticism of the subject matter. I am disappointed with the reviews of Elizabeth W-mn. If this movie would have been about agnosticism the critics would have given it very positive reviews. Overall it was an engaging film.

Best movie ever. However North Korea is its own enemy by oppressing and enslaving its own people. I loved the action in this movie even though it is different from the original it is still awesome.

This film is better than average but not excellent. It contains many socialist ideas and as such conservatives will hate this film and those on the left will enjoy it more. However the casting was not great the two leading actors are not the best that could have filled these roles. The allegory of the film meaning that the wealthy stomp the poor and exploit them for their labor is magnificently developed. Hollywood should make more films like this instead of producing the week to week poopfests that they produce to keep the masses ignorant and complacent.

Pretty funny. Will Ferrell is okay but the movie was really funny because of Diego Luna and sexy because of Genesis Rodriguez! The plot was not the best it could have been but hey it's a comedy.

This movie was a fantastic piece of art. It was well written, and it connects well with what many working class Hispanic-American women go through living in this country. The writer was creative in how he develops the character of the daughter and although this film is a tear-jerker I highly recommend that people watch it. The cast is amazing, Eva Mendez does a magnificent job portraying a single mother who tends to be irresponsible, and Cierra Ramirez does an unbelievably great job.

It seems like I could not relate to the protagonists of this film because they were all millionaires who complained that they hate the government. They want to start a revolution but all the common citizens are really protesting against people like them. It is hard to relate to a "hero" who rides up in a porsche while the rest of the people seem like they are going hungry. This movie is one of the worst propaganda films that I have ever seen since John Wayne's The Green Berets. The owner of Fox news would be very proud of this horrible film.
