I love Shiri Appleby playing the anti-heroine part. I'm tired of how women are constantly portrayed without any shades of grey. Women are as flawd and imperfect as men. Love how this main character doesn't rely on beauty to be interesting. The rest of the show is a lot of fun to watch. You are used to seeing the product of so much manipulation... Well, now you get to see behind scenes.

I heard about this show because my parents used to watch it all the time. I thought it'd be boring. Boy, was I wrong. After watching the first episode, I had to catch up to the show. The directors and writers of this show are real craftsmen, and so are the actors. Cinematographic quality and detail as well as the speed on a TV show are what make this show so addictive. It's more than a TV show; it's an experience.

Watching this series is like watching a really long great movie. Phenomenal acting, screenplay and directing. Makes you love and hate Frank character at the same time. I knew Kevin Spacey was an amazing actor, but after watching HoC I'm even more amazed. Check this show out if you want to see something new, dark, fun and to have as some delightful food-for-thought. Intellectual, yet amusing political thriller.

In so many words, really uplifting show. This series will become one of your favorites if you love spy stories and comedy entwined. Brilliant and believable acting, great writing. Some stories may seem over the top but they manage to keep us tuned.

Hands down to Hugh Dancy (playing Will Graham) and Mads Mikkelsen (Dr. Hannibal Lecter) for they astonishing and cunning performances, tailored perfectly for such a brilliant show. Already addicted to this series (after watching the 1st episode), and can't wait for the next! Do not watch if you have a weak stomach, or heart-attack risk as this series is packed with suspense, blood and other disturbing things. But If you like a good thriller, intriguing plot, amazing actors and a genial reshaping of the story of Dr. Lecter, this is for you.
