Returnal3

There isn't nearly enough content to justify the price of $75. Not anywhere close. The game is brutally hard, and not in the fun satisfying manner something like Dark Souls is, the difficulty spikes in Returnal come fast, you'll be having a good time, then be locked, randomly and without warning, in a room with several mini bosses, and bye bye 3 hour run. Hope you had a save file, OH WAIT, saves aren't a feature here. Of any kind. In the middle of a long run and the game crashes? Guess you're starting all over! This game reeks of amateur game design, there any many bugs and pacing issues that should have been solved in play testing, which leads me to think they didn't. It's not the buggiest game I have played, but I have lost runs to crashes, and I haven't made it out of the first level yet. Don't buy this game, it's a glorified tech demo.

The game has a good premise at first, but wastes your time. If you think the snazzy worlds and enemies look fun, prepare to look at those 10% of the time, and sit in mind numbingly boring exercise guides for the rest of it. The game's balance is hilariously broken, requiring grinding for levels by level 4. It boggles my mind that this game has as high of a rating as it does, it seems to have never been updated, so hopes of a patch are null and void. The calorie counter is also broken, giving about 150 calories for a half hour workout, not even as much as you would burn walking for the same amount of time (200 approx) regardless of the sweat you have been pouring off. It also seems to have a pretty awful pulse read, saying after each level that judging by my pulse, it was a "Very Light" workout. Frankly, after losing a fight on the fourth level by a mile, (Literally didn't even get the enemies down to half health) and being forced to restart from the beginning, I'm convinced this game is the opposite of a hidden gem. A well known game with very undeserved reviews. Mandatory grinding is a terrible practice, and shows that you didn't put enough content in the game to last a decent amount of time, so you force players to replay what little is there. That means, in this case, redoing battles and environments repeatedly, just like going to a gym and using normal equipment, which is what I was trying to avoid with this game. As for other aspects, both the narrator's have very annoying voices, and the controls are under baked in the running section. They work perfectly during workout sections, but they just arent as fast or accurate as you'll want in the running sections. Most of this can be patched with an update, but considering my cartridge didn't require any updates when I popped it in, and there aren't any I can find, I'd say expecting long term support hee is unrealistic. Nintendo seems to have made a mediocre exercise program, then bolted on a half baked game. The only reason this didn't flop was COVID, especially at this price. Long story short, it's bad at tracking exercises, and it can't stand on its own, so it's a shoddy exercise program with a badly balanced RPG game bolted on. Stay away, clearance is where this game deserves to be, and even then, it's not great.

This is hands down the worst shooter I have ever played. Imagine **** was a bad clone of Call of Duty, with a focus on stealth, and some of the worst feeling shooting since Turning Point. That's this. It is a soulless, terribly written dumpster fire that is filled with bugs. Oh, and it takes minutes to load each level on an Xbox One X. Don't even play this game for free, just avoid it and it's developer, they don't even deserve your attention.

This game is awesome. It's easy to pick up and play, offers plenty of replayability because of the high priced weapons and arena combat, and has pretty slick multiplayer. The graphics are only outmatched by the upcoming sequel, Infinity Blade 2.

This game is absolutely nothing like the card game. First of all, there is no deck building. You unlock starter decks and slowly unlock better cards for those. The enemies in the campaign apparently get even the locked cards, so unless you only use one deck throughout the game you will consistently lose. One of my biggest peevs however, was that grand story you see in the opening scene, is not the plot of the campaign. There is no plot to the campaign. All it is is a series of unconnected battles. They could've done alot better with this game without that much effort, but this is just lazy.

This game is amazing. The campaign is mostly conclusive, the Horde, Multiplayer and Beast modes are some of the most inginuitive I've ever seen. My only complaint is that the ending seems rushed. By the end of the game, I expected to keep going and figure out why a certain character we first saw in GoW2 is so human-like, but all you get is a "nope, nothing unusual here, just another character." answer. Maybe It'll be answered better in future DLC.

This game is absolutely the worst I've ever played, between framerate drops and terrible writing, animations that would be okay 5 years ago, and the complete lack of compelling gameplay, I think paid way too much when I picked this up out of the bargain bin. I mean come on, this is disgraceful. This game is a great example of how almost every marvel game SEGA has ever made is bad. This game was obviously a complete rush, I'm guessing maybe half a year to make, compared to the normal 2 or more year development cycle great or even average games take to make.
