Other than the incredibly bad checkpoints (or lack thereof) during boss fights, Outland is excellent. The visual design and animations are fantastic, the combat is smooth and stays fun with all the new powers you get and the color switching mechanic makes Outland feel unique and clever as far as 2D platformers go. Definitely buy. It's only $10. Just prepare for some incredibly frustrating boss fights towards the end.

VERY short campaign, incredibly linear, unbelievably generic, tons of poorly placed invisible walls, tries to be like Call of Duty but worse, ugly graphics. The story isn't even good and the setting is just shock value ****

Really enjoyed the nanosuit mechanic. Adds variety and makes it feel somewhat unique among other shooters. Also, customizing your weapon attachments in game is really cool. Obviously it looks great and lighting is fantastic, but AI is really sloppy. Voice acting is pretty bad and story is meh. Multiplayer is fun, but sorta generic.

I really love the combat and the visual style, but it gets soo repetitive. Plus, the two campaigns are nearly identical. Co-op is also really hard to keep track of.
