I had doubts going into the movie. Micheal Jackson is undoubtedly one of the greatest African cultural icons to our generation. So similar to Malcolm X, Tupac, Prince, Martin Luther King jr etc. We are very critical on how movies of these people are done. Once I knew what I was going into I was pleased. This was not a deep dive. This movie introduces Micheal to a new generation and shows aspect of him being human. To the nose job, conflicts with his father and wanting to separate himself from his brothers. Only flaws the Cgi stuff they could have keep in this movie. Jaafar Jackson did an exceptionally great job depicting his uncle, at times I forgot it was him, and thought it was Micheal. Once again great glance over an aspect of Micheal's life. I liked the movie I am waiting for the second part. If you don't overdue it, you will like the movie.

Didn't know what to expect when I watched this movie randomly. Emma Stone,Jesse Plemons, and Aidan Delbris synergy on camera was superb. This movie did a great job of having comedy but maintaining a sense of danger and mystery to it. The movie was a great display of holding the camera. Each actor held me in the moment. The end was a delightful twist. I actually bought this for my collection.
