The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered

The Witcher 3 Remastered is decent. Sure, there are flaws—optimization isn't the best, especially with ray tracing enabled—but it’s tolerable. You get a stable 30–40 FPS on High to Ultra settings. It’s not a huge number, but the quality of the frames matters more than the quantity.

Silent Hill: Townfall

Opinion: SILENT HILL: Townfall — A Great Horror Game with the Wrong Title SILENT HILL: Townfall is a good game that pleasantly surprises with its approach to world exploration. The developers drew heavy inspiration from the classic Resident Evil structure, and this formula works perfectly here. (I can't compare it to other Silent Hill games since I've only played Resident Evil, but in this project, it fits like a glove). Konami decided to experiment with the concept and shifted the gameplay entirely to a first-person perspective — a move that, in my opinion, was executed brilliantly. Pros: Atmosphere and Puzzles Thick Atmosphere: This is the game's biggest and most prominent strength. The atmosphere alone makes the project well worth recommending.Engaging Gameplay: Combined with the eerie vibe, the game delivers an excellent, albeit one-time, experience that completely hooks you. Solid Puzzles: There are plenty of riddles throughout the game, and they don't feel like lazy filler. Some of them are quite complex and convoluted — they will genuinely make your brain work to get another rusty mechanism running. Cons: Flawed Mechanics and an Identity Crisis Of course, the game is not without its flaws. The most obvious downsides include: Mediocre, bland characters that are hard to care about; Weak, clunky, and completely confusing stealth mechanics that annoy you rather than build tension ;A total lack of any meaningful connection to the original town of Silent Hill. Finnaly: In the end, we got a solid, atmospheric horror game that was slapped with an iconic franchise name solely for marketing purposes. This game should have been called St. Amelia: Townfall — if it were, no one would have had any complaints at all.

CONTROL Resonant

Opinion: CONTROL Resonant — Great Concept Ruined by Sluggish Gameplay. CONTROL Resonant is, without exaggeration, a massive and critically important project for Remedy. The studio has built an incredible, conceptually powerful world that leaves you jaw-dropped at first. Unfortunately, behind this excellent core premise lies a whole bunch of issues that completely destroy the game's strengths. 1. Combat and Gameplay: Lazy Beat 'Em Up Mechanics The gameplay and combat feel incredibly lazy and superficial, even though they initially seemed like the game's biggest selling points. In reality, the entire combat system boils down to mashing one or two attacks and watching a couple of stale finisher animations for Dylan Faden. This loop gets old right at the start. Enduring over 20 hours of this campaign with such "deep" combat is pure, unadulterated torture. Some might argue: “But there are tons of skills and weapon types, the gameplay is interesting!” No, it isn't. No amount of guns can fix the overall experience when the game completely lacks satisfying impact, decent attack animations, or cool **** you compare it to something like the recent Wolverine, the combat there at least had weight, especially on the DualSense controller with its adaptive triggers. In CONTROL Resonant, the combat feels completely floaty and unresponsive. 2. Quality of Life and Navigation: A Topographical Nightmare The second massive issue with the game is its Quality of Life (QoL). While the UI is actually quite neat and easy to get used to, the navigation and pathfinding to the objective marker are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I won't even bother breaking it down in detail—just play it yourself and experience the misery of these local labyrinths.I genuinely like the project for its visual style: it's vibrant, beautiful, conceptually unique, and the parkour/movement mechanics are solid. But the game is just unpleasant to play due to the awful combat and terrible QoL. 3. Open World and Exploration: A Narrative Lost in Empty Backtracking The game is completely detached from its narrative, focusing instead on its open world and tedious exploration. If you were expecting a deep, mind-bending story and the tight pacing of the first game, you will be deeply disappointed. A massive chunk of the gameplay boils down to mindless running across open locations, and you can literally count the actually interesting plot moments on one hand. The writing is stretched incredibly thin across a huge map, causing the game to completely lose its momentum. Finally: I’m not trying to blindly defend or hate on either game; I’m just stating facts. If you didn't like Wolverine, then the new CONTROL is a flat-out bad game for you. Sure, Remedy's project wins in some areas—the bosses are good and unique, and the core concept remains intriguing. However, the game severely drops the ball because most of the gameplay has devolved into empty fetch quests across an open world with practically zero story. And that, in my opinion, is the biggest issue for the sequel, especially since the first game was laser-focused on a tight, well-paced narrative.

The Blood of Dawnwalker

The Blood of Dawnwalker is an incredible, masterfully crafted RPG that easily deserves a 9/10. It is a unique experience that might be too deep for those who judge it on a surface level.Narrative and Open WorldThe game offers exceptional replayability and handles its open world brilliantly by completely removing the line between "main" and "side" content. You are given a log of available quests, but your ultimate goal is singular: grow stronger and defeat the final boss, Brencis. Remarkably, you can attempt to storm his castle at any time. Unlike games like The Witcher 3, you can achieve a true ending in just 3–5 hours if you are skilled enough, or spend 25 hours fully preparing. Every single quest serves the main goal, granting the player absolute freedom.Gameplay and CombatThe combat system is highly responsive, turning every encounter into an epic action scene with a phenomenal sense of impact. Enemies feel like real threats rather than mindless drones. While small, enclosed arenas can occasionally cause camera issues, the developers smartly tuned group aggression—enemies behind your back won’t simultaneously spam attacks. The combat requires patience and adaptation, but it makes character progression feel genuinely rewarding. The only major flaw is that once enemies aggro, you cannot run away; you are forced to fight to the end.Dungeons and OutpostsThe sheer volume of catacombs and outposts might seem overwhelming at first. However, the dungeons are lore-rich and goal-oriented rather than being just repetitive, empty cellars. Outposts never feel tedious either, as you usually fight small groups of 5–7 enemies at a time. More importantly, thanks to the non-linear structure, you can easily skip these activities entirely if they aren't your cup of **** its $70 price tag, The Blood of Dawnwalker delivers a rare, unconventional, and thoroughly gripping experience.

The honest verdict: The game is fantastic. The pacing, the carnage, and Logan’s claws work exactly as they should in a brutal action title. The linear structure keeps things engaging every second—unlike those tedious open-world games. Regarding the online chatter: All that negativity and the outcry from haters is just mindless nonsense driven by herd mentality. People are simply trying to mock Sony given their currently tarnished reputation, completely ignoring the actual quality of the product. It’s yet more proof that you can’t trust online chats and forums—you have to see for yourself.Final score: 8.5/10 (A solid, brutal action game that fully justified the marathon session).
