Horrible rubberbanding, especially in Knockdown Tour, close to unplayable because it’s so frustrating. The new Grand Prixs are way more boring than the good old classic Grand Prixs with 4 courses each 3 laps. Intermissions are wide stretches of highways to drive compared to the actual courses. No skill, just item lottery. I can’t even describe how disappointed I am. Graphics are cool. The actual courses are amazing. Wallrides and grinding are great new game mechanics. Polishing is amazing, but some structural decisions are horrible. Will play again once it’s fixed. And it better get fixed for 80€!

It’s an old game with new graphics. Gameplay and mechanics just feel old. It’s not anywhere near something like „The Last of Us“. There is no real intriguing story, just lots of jumpscares that keeps it exciting.

Probably the best shooter I’ve ever played. It’s so satisfying. Amazing maps with sooo much to find, so many tunnels and secrets that open up over time with the story. Amazing weapons and extras that are improved play by play. Amazing style. Progression and story are so well balanced. If you think it’s less than a 9, you have up just a little too early.

It’s just so boring. It’s never exciting any second. Sound design is dull, graphics are dull. It feels like an interactive very boring book with lots to read. You never have to be smart. Just click through the dialogs, speak to all persoan mentioned in your diary and the mystery will reveal itself. I stopped playing in the middle of the second act when I realized I would have to spend another 7 hours with this.

Story and characters are deep. Visuals are cool and refreshingly different. But you have to run through the map back and forth just too much in this game and it’s cumbersome often when you have to run around little bushes because there is no way. Also the mechanic to try white challenges again doesn’t work out. This was supposed to be one of THE game mechanics which many players ended up solving with saving and reloading to retry.

Horrible user experience. Good games introduce you to gameplay and mechanics slowly and step-by-step in the first couple of hours. Take Zelda as an example: It never feels overwhelming, you always have the feeling that you understand how your current set of capabilites and tools work and where you have to go and what to do next, even though it's an open world and basically a sand box game. Elden Ring however: Basic introduction for 5 minutes, then you are thrown into the world, you have to run past or skip the first couple of bosses you encounter, you have to be at certain times of the day to trigger important events that unlock essential gameplay mechanics and character capabilities ... It's really a mess. Plus the way too poetic story telling that just leaves you with only a notion of what is going on. From my perspective (46 year old gaming veteran since Commodore 64 times), this is one of if not the worst onboarding in a game. To be honest, it's my first souls-like and without the open world approach it might have been working a bit better, but it's just not fun at all to watch hours and hours of YouTube videos to know what you have to do. It ****. Sound/music is good, but no controller rumble, clunky character movement, basically running/riding aroudn all day long, levelling up your character and weapons, trying encounters, failing, leveling up again, trying again ... What a waste of time.

I don’t get the hype. Never played the original game. Maybe that’s why. After finishing it I felt like I ran every single corridor 500 times. Map is super confusing. Menus are archaic. Enemies are annoying at the end, appearing again and again, at the end I just ran by them all the time. Nice sound. Nice textures.

Every switch user should get his money back until Sloclap manages to fix the frame rate issues that have been introduced over half a year ago. This is absolutely outrageous. Slocap adds features to other platforms instead of fixing a game thousands of users paid 40€ for!

Way too easy and random. Comparing it to Everybody's Golf (Hot Shots Golf) on the PlayStation, Mario Golf is just way too easy and random. What in Golf is random? Nothing. It is and should be about precision and a clever combination of parameters. Mario Golf is just Golf for 6 year olds. Swinging: Ok, I could have guessed that a 2-click-mechanic might miss the final 3rd click that makes swinging in golf games so fun and challenging. Hitting perfectly straight in Mario Golf? No problem, because there is no 3rd click. Instead every swing that is close to the 100% of the club length gets a RANDOM divergence to the left or right. Why random? Facepalming really hard. Please introduce 3-click-swings! Curve balls: You can give the ball as much as 4 (!!!) curves. Why? Does it make it more fun or are 4 curves needed for certain courses? No. It just adds nonsense complexity that doesn't help the experience at all. Putting: Way too easy. All other games are harder and as hard as they should be. Greens in Mario Golf are just super easy and boring. Courses: Yes, colorful as Mario Kart courses, but they aren't done smart. No hard decisions to be made, no clever new routes open up with certain characters or clubs, no risk-reward patterns at all. Story mode: Just pain. Feels like a 10 year old boring adventure game with loads of dumb conversations and lame challenges. You need to play it though to be able to access all courses. Speed Golf: Fine, but running is just very repetitive and not nearly as fun or challenging as a real golf game should be. Maybe I shouldn't have hoped for a nice Nintendo version of Everybody's Golf. My fault, I guess.

It's not a golf game. It's a game where you bring just about anything from point a to point b by setting direction and power. The levels (I would not say: courses) are very creative and it's fun, but it's neither challenging, nor strategic or complicated. It's a nice game to play for a few minutes now and then and I enjoy it and the creativity makes me smile sometimes, so I guess it does the job. But I'm not hooked or stoked.

Super boring. The whole game feels like slow motion. Graphics are underwhelming and the gameplay and mission types are as uninnovative as they can be. Menus lack style. Also nobody tells you, you have to fly to another island and land there to unlock a new island. Deleted it after failing for 4 hours to like it. There are so many better games for VR. Ah, yes, load times are good!

Hmmm. I bought this game because most reviews on YouTube were positive to enthusiastic about it. Having played it for two hours I have to say I'm already bored. Why? It's four different locations with each 20 courses. The courses look and feel quite similar. Ok, different routes down the same mountain and different times of the day and weather, but the courses are just not than fun to fly down. One crash and it's over – obviously. When you are creating courses for Wipeout or a racing game you just have a lot more options to make a course fun, but that's sadly not the same for this type of game. About the controls: There are really many different options to control your dude, but all of the feel like wrapped in cotton candy. Again, it's not done badly, but flying is probably just that lame. Graphics are ok. Some washed out textures and huge polygons, but weather effects and lighting are good. Menus are done nice, but that doesn't improve gameplay. ;) I played Eagle Flight about a dozen hours and found it a lot more entertaining, since there is also a flying up there and into tunnels and boats and warehouses, plus animals and different types of challenges. Those are all not there here. One thing I didn't try which I can imagine to be fun: Multiplayer. But I'm not the multiplayer type of dude. I bought it because I wanted to feel the rush of flying down a mountain, but it just feels boring very quickly.

So the story takes around 60 hours? Understood. 55 of those 60 is plain horse riding! This is sooo boring. I enjoyed those rides the first 10 hours, but later it got really boring. I’m somewhere around 20 hours now and I don’t want to pick up the game anymore.

Saber Interactive, you **** it up again! Last year's version **** big time – so much that you gave us the **** Shaq Fu for free – alright. But this year it's even worse. Being so aggressive with the in-game payments for a 30$ game is absolute insanity. I hope nobody buys this game and you go bankrupt. Disgusting!

This game is just plain fun. Created with lots of love to detail and well balanced gameplay mechanics. I played it last weekend with my friends and family and we had an hour of great fun, before we switched to another game. It's nothing you play for hours at a time, but it fits in perfectly between fast-paced games such as Towerfall and relaxed ones Death Squared. I'm super happy to have it in my library and will boot it up for sure the next time I play with friends. I wish there would be a little more game modes (like classic Tetris or coop modes) but it's a straight 8.

Hm. It's a good game, but not great. Graphics and story (although a bit confusing) are great, the combat system is super deep and rewarding, but movement and exploration is really lame. Kratos can only walk on paths. He's a god and he can't jump over a little rock? Come on. In 2018 on a PS4 I would have expected exploration like in Zelda, not a game where a god can only walk on pretrampled paths. Also the puzzles are very basic and repetitive already a few hours in the game. Sorry for the comparison with Zelda, but if you want a 10, you gotta be up par with a 10. ;) I'm not sure why, but the last God of Wars just felt more epic, also in the size of fights with monsters. Maybe because its pace is a lot slower than before.

Don't want to be the grinch here, but I'm not really thrilled playing this game. It looked like a fasted-paced action racer, but it feels rather like the engine is padded in way too many cotton pads. The music paces it up, but the very soft steering and boring never ever changing angle paces it down. Also I personally don't like the UI – it lacks polish. And there are a lot of modes which could be fun, if the racing itself wouldn't feel so repetitive. To be honest, I played this game for only 4 hours, but after this time, too little changed gameplay-wise to keep me wanting more.

Preamble: I'm rating the release version and the development team is very responsive on Twitter, so I hope they'll fix some of the issues soon. I'm a huge fan of TV Sports Basketball, NBA Jam and NBA Street, so I'm rating it with these classics in mind ... THE GOOD Fantastic style, awesome roster, jaw-dropping animations, cool soundtrack and commentary. The potential is there! But ... THE BAD Game balancing is horrible in NBA Playgrounds: Any other shots than dunks are incredibly hard to do. 2PT or 3PT are close to impossible. Also doing crossovers doesn't make any sense. There is no reason to do them. Graphics look really blurry, anti-aliasing is horrible and the scoreboard is sometimes impossible to read due to bad graphics. The lottery picks vary from useless to way too powerful. Navigating menus is cumbersome. Load times are way too long. There seems no way to change your players in the tournament mode. Oh dear, what a mess.
