This series is really struggling. It is so unrealistic and has such unimaginative writing. I marvel at the staff of one who is the know all computer wizard who handles all security treats (is their and FBI and CIA?). Then there is Agent Hannah Wells, superwoman, who is almost the entire secret service agency. Now she also flies to Kunami to join special forces operations. Oh my.... Sometimes I think there is a budget crunch where they cannot hire other actors to play parts that should not be filled by the main charactors.. This is a typical Hollywood, poorly thought out series. Did they ever watch West Wing? Please cancel this series and put it out of its misery.

Last season this was a compelling series and I was waiting for the next episode with great interest. However, this season the writing is so bad that I find it ridiculous and boring. The episode this week with a presidential request for a metal of honor investigation, a criminal pardon, and an investigation of bees ending in a absurd domestic argument was bad beyond description. The only thing this episode showed was that the writers have no idea where to take this series. Can you imagine sending the top white house staff out to do these things........... Guess they had nothing to do????? What a waste of great actors and a setting that should offer so many opportunities. BAD BAD BAD Get a new writing staff to save this series, please. I paid for this on Amazon. I won't make that mistake again.

I liked this show the first couple of seasons but now I am finding it quite boring. I think the writing is not very good. I think the show has an identity problem caused by the writers lack of creativity. The show spends too much time between three plots, Family, Secretary of State, and CIA husband. It cannot seem to focus on any one of them and it should focus more on the Secretary of State. The other issue is the oversimplification of world and political issues with superwoman secretary having and almost 100 percent genius rating in solving issues. It just does not work that way. My partner likes the show so I watch it now but if left to me, I would not. We watch it on Amazon so we do not have commercials. Tea Leon is great put the writing is killing the show for me. West Wing was so much better and I was sorry when it ended.
