This is the best 3D platformer i have played in my life. I've been loving the genre since I first played Mario 64 on release, and been playing them ever since. Just wow! You can't help but smile while playing it.
The game is fantastic, but not being able to carry on my single player campaign because they are doing server maintenance is not good at all. Been unplayable for a full 24 hours. OK... it is now playable again, but gets boring fast as you don't win enough money in each race. I have therefore moved on to other better games.
A great game. Reminded me of Portal even though objectively it is entirely different. Actually different every other game I've played. Short, but that way it never ran out of ideas.
Just started playing this game. Only cost me £1 something, but I pretty much actively disliked it. I love all sorts of games but this was not good. I felt like how a non-gamer feels when forced to play a game. I must be missing something as the reviews aren't as dreadful as I found it.
A beautiful game that has a wonderful old-school simplicity, where the only survival mechanic is how many hearts you have. Feels a bit over-priced at £50, but hey ho, it's Nintendo, they have a habit of being the most expensive games on the market.
Looks great. Runs great, plays great. Also it is supposed to be quite long (no where near finishing it yet, so can't say for sure). Know what I'm doing with my afternoon off tomorrow though :-)
This game really benefits if you opt to just use the keyboard to type questions rather than selecting from the dropdown. You can not get all the replies using just the dropdown menu, and it feels way more immersive if you actually free-type your questions. For £6.99 I think it is great value for money.
Thought this was great on my Rift, but now on my Valve Index with the better sound, and 144Hz enabled, it is an amazing experience. P.S. Audica is an even better RA game, that I would, and will give 10 as soon as it is out of Early Access.
I real rollercoaster ride ****. The set pieces and motion capture are the best I've seen in VR (and I've played most stuff on PSVR and PC). The only reason this doesn't get a 10 is because it uses the PSVR tracking, which occasionally breaks immersion, especially when trying to look down the sight on a 2 handed weapon. We just need PSVR2 on PS5 with different tracking and backwards compatibility, and we will have a 10/10 game! lol.
Well, it isn't proper VR, but it is a fun Labo kit. The games are enjoyable, and as with all the kits, the cardboard is amazing quality. The instructions are really easy to follow, and it just good wholesome Nintendo fun..... but like I say, it won't be replacing my Oculus Rift.
I was hesitant to spend £35 on Tetris, even after playing the Demo, but now have spent 7.5 hours so far playing it (+ about 2 hours on the demo). Yes it is just Tetris, but played on a board the size of a house, and with fantastic audio and beautiful visuals. I have enjoyed every second I have been playing this game, and I honestly can't say that about many AAA games, as they have their dull moments. This is not the case with Tetris Effect. It is wonderful from the moment you start.
There is a lot of variety here, and flawless physics. There is a demo available, which I loved, but then I was still surprised how great the game was, as it has lots of variety, and you feel like you are constantly unlocking new features. The Angry Birds formula works a lot better in 3 dimensions with full VR, and motion controllers.
The world is so detailed, it is quite incredible. It takes a while to get between objectives, but I like the break, and the views are spectacular. The missions are all really fun, which is great, because with the desperate nature of the story, I was worried it might be depressing to play. This is fortunately not the case.
OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! It plays like a Nintendo Platformer in VR. What more could you ask for. It has you leaning around corners to see platforms. Standing up to see over ledges. It is just pure adorable fun. Also with the bright blue skies, palm trees and beaches, it is the perfect game to be playing as we go into October, with darker evenings and winter approaching. I can't recommend this game enough. I will find every last robot in every level!
I wasn't quite sure whether to splash out the extra £6 to get this included in my Humble Bundle, or not. Having never heard of Zachtronics Industries, I read the reviews here and decided to go for it. Wow. The puzzles are so open, with what feel like infinite viable solutions. No resource, time or space restrictions, but it tells you how efficient you were on those 3 at the end, so you can try and do it better. I love it.
Back on form after a slightly sub-par season 3. Lost a point because at the moment I don't have any confidence that we will get a full season from this game.
It's a good tower defence game. Hard as nails, even on Normal, put I shall persevere. A lot like a futuristic version of The Castle Must Be Mine. Edit: This game is growing nicely. New levels, new vastly improved menu system for campaign. Still hard as nails. Dropped to easy, and I still fail some levels, and I'm no tower defence beginner.
I loved Life is Strange, and mostly enjoyed Before the Storm (although it was no way near as good as the original). This I found to be more of a chore. I've not finished it yet, but It just seemed to be dragging, so I decided to play something else. That is something I never did with either Life is Strange game, I would play at least a whole episode in a sitting. Hope Life is Strange 2 is better than this, as I know I'll buy it anyway, because of how much I loved the first one.
I played it in VR. If you don't have VR, I'd say, don't bother. It is kind of short (about 2 hours) so I completed it in 1 sitting. Great atmosphere though, and that is what really made it for me. Story is good, and unfolds subtley with visions (almost all of which made me jump). There was never a point where I got too stuck, which was good. Maybe not worth the £18.99, but I had a free £5 on Paypal, so for my £13.99 I felt I got OK value, as it's about the same price as a Blu-ray. My advice is to wait for a Halloween sale, and then play it when you are home alone.
This is a review of the VR mode: It's not quite as good as Wipeout on the PSVR and the courses feel less 3D than some other VR titles. That being said, it is still a fantastic game, with lots of content. Hours of gameplay, and a good difficulty curve. Especially if you don't have PSVR, this is an essential VR purchase.
I bought this for 99p, and have since bought 2 expansions (at 99p each I think). Have over 24 hours clocked up and have enjoyed every one of them immensely. This is my favourite tower defence game ever (yes, better than it's sequel)
Awful controls, not 1:1 or even close. Found the world was way too big, with MASSIVE 7'6" tall NPCs, and my character too. Walking speed way too slow, but even with that the game takes less that 3 hours to complete. A couple of good jump scares, and saying the answers works well, but overall avoid this game.
The acting is all over the place (some good, some horrific). Having not played the first 2 games, the storyline very odd, and so far fetched, it is bordering on the ridiculous. However there is something about this game that keeps me coming back for more. I am somewhere in book 2, and thoroughly enjoying myself. I'm just not sure why. Edit... for to about book 4, then got bored. Still worth the entry price.
An incredible game, made even better with VR. The best looking VR game I've played without a doubt. Playing on GTX1080, which is apparently minimum specs (although I have heard it plays fine on a 1060) If you have PCVR and a beasty PC, do yourself a favour and play this game!!
Best graphics I've seen on PS4, and you really feel like your choices affect the story. I'm now playing through for a 2md time to see some of the other paths I can take. The fact it shows you all the options on a tree, is a great bit of transparency, to prove that there are really lots of paths through the story.
This is not a serious music making utility. It is a fun little game where you play at being Daft Punk, remixing the song live. Some of the tracks work amazingly (generally the ones with some nice vocals), others are less fun (mostly those with no vocals, and limited instruments). In general, very fun for about an hour at a time. Wish I had a friend with it, so I could check out the multiplayer.
An easy 10. Fly around Manhattan, go to Disney World, stand in your own back garden, drive your way to work. The choice is yours. Super chill music too. Just amazing in every way. If you have a VR headset and haven't tried this, then you are crazy!
Brilliant game. I don't really like 8 Bit style titles, but I love this. 100% skill based, but easy to die stupidly (It is always your fault). Can't wait to get back home to play it again.
A brilliant game. Fast with no hit of motion sickness. Challenging but fair. Only trouble is, after playing for an hour, I get knackered, and have to play something more sedentary. Guess that isn't really the game's fault.
I'm loving this game so far. In Chapter 3, and it has already thrown a few curve balls. Sure, It's not quite as good as 2, but that is one of the best games ever. Its great to have another proper Danganronpa game to play.
I'm really enjoying this game (in Episode 3 at the moment). The story is great, and there is a real sense that your decisions affect what is going on. The choice of moves throughout the fights is a great addition.
I'm playing an 8 bit golf RPG, and loving every second. This is very unexpected. This game just has so much charm. Its constantly hilarious. This is definitely in my top 3 Switch games.
It's short, and not really a game, but the atmosphere is nice, and gives as good an idea of what it must have felt like, as I think is possible using current media. Lots of attention to detail in the cockpit. No replay value though, but it was under a tenner, so can't complain too much.
It's a fully featured Rally game with fantastic handling, that supports PSVR and the Pro. What more could anyone ask for. A true gem in the PSVR catalogue. With this and RE7 things are beginning to get very exciting.
In VR there is only one way to describe this game. Jaw dropping!! I think I have a new favourite game ever!! Every stage is better and more exciting than the last, until the end credits roll.
It's a good game, with steering wheel. And one of the biggest VR games around at the moment. Nice sense of speed. Because you are staring at the horizon a lot, it sometimes feels a bit pixelated, but the immersion is still fantastic.
LOVE this game. The only thing better is Danganronpa 2, and you need to play this first to appreciate that. Great characters, brilliant story. Just get it, and avoid spoilers at all costs.
Wow!! I LOVED Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc, but this was even better. If you have a Vita, then this is a must. Actually, if you don't have a Vita, then buy one and get all the Danganronpa games.
Wonderful, and at roughly £4 a table, really good value for money (as you'd pay £1 just for a go at the arcade). Before I played this, I thought only big scale things were worth doing in VR, this has totally changed that perception. The tables feel so real, and the sense of presence is great. If you have PSVR, give this a try. If you don't... buy a PSVR.
Im on the back of a massive bird!!! Its a childhood fantacy come true. Gorgeous graphics. The wings look incredible. Much prefer this to Eagle Flight. The relaxed pace makes it a joy to play.
It took me ages to even play the demo, I'd written this game off as rubbish. My mistake. I really don't like football, but this is more like Portal than Fifa. It's great, sinister and completely insane. Highly recommend.
