What can you say about this. I was a huge fan of the 1st film but dear god, why wait 10 years for a sequel which is basically the same. The effects are identical, The script just seems dated and frankly a little ridiculous. I wanted to enjoy this film but It would have been great 8 years ago. There is just nothing new here to require a second viewing. It's still quite fun if you can somehow conjure a wormhole to take you back to 2003.

I avoided this movie, being a fan of the musical, because of the poor reviews. I gave it a chance last night and I really enjoyed it, It's not perfect but the acting and direction is top notch. The characters are deep and interesting, The story is simple but effective. Watch it and make up you're own mind.

It may have been a good movie in 1954, but doesn't hold up to today's films or even films from the golden age. I am a huge classic film aficionado but this was extremely dissapointing, there is no chemistry between the main cast, the script is poor and it's not particularly interesting. Giving this 100 is an absolute insult to every film in the world many which have far more muscle than this one. It's not terrible, but it's not good either. If you want truly classic cinema check out Public enemy's, Gone with the wind, Gilda or anything with Audrey Hepburn.

If you go into this expecting a serious film then look elsewhere. The film has some of the best comic actors in this generation, Craig Robinson is brilliant as usual and the supporting cast are excellent especially the always funny and underrated Rob Huebel. Anna Kendrick is gorgeous and plays her character very well. It has it's problems and some of the jokes fall flat, especially the talking crows which got old very fast. If you like films such as The Other Guys & Hot Tub Time Machine then this could be the film for you. It's not as polished or as funny as most Judd Apatow comedies but it is a very easy and fun film, It's also well paced. In conclusion it's a good movie, obviously not for everyone. After seeing the low rating I went in with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't marketed very well and that probably didn't help matters either.

As lots of reviewers have said, an I agree, Drive is in my top 5 movies ever, Gosling is my favourite actor. He's aloof as ever in this but even his awesomeness can't save it. It's just not good, nothing about it is endearing or even likeable. It has it's moments but I just didn't care about the characters, the story, or even making it to the end. It's not all bad, It's shot, ok, which is a massive step down from Drive. It's not that bad, but I won't be watching it again.

I watched this based completely on the metascore and the fact i'd never heard of it. Dear God I shouldn't have bothered. This movie is dull, the script is awful, the style is an eye sore. This is the type of pretentious trash that should be destined for movie hell. Terrible.
