Oddly enough the worst bit of this whole thing is Dirk Gently. When it's just Elijah Woods trying to escape this hypnotic maze the shows truly BAFTA worthy. Visually and conceptually on par with Legion (if not exceeding it) But then Dirk Gently stumbles on, despite being overbearing and energetic to the point of anguish, this boot leg Matt Smith smothers all the intrigue out of the story and visuals. Seriously, this show minus DG would equal masterpiece, but as is, it's a tease at best.
