Breath of The Wild did something no other game I thought would ever do. It out did Ocarina of Time as my favorite game of all time. Breath of the Wild's graphics are just gorgeous. The game looks like a computer generated movie, by Studio Ghibli. The colors, and animations from everyone, and everything looks so natural. The world of Breath of The Wild is absolutely huge, and is one of the biggest open worlds I've ever seen, and it's going to take you hundreds of hours just to see and do everything. I know some people complain about the weapons breaking. However, that's one of my favorite things about the game. The fact that nothing lasts forever means that when fighting, I have to either quickly switch to a new weapon, when my weapon breaks. Or if I have to run if I have no weapons. I also like how every weapon does a different amount of damage. Almost everything in this game is climbable. Ranging from tall mountains, small rocks, and especially large enemies. You can also tame not only horses, but you can tame other animals as well. Breath of The Wild is a landmark game not only for Nintendo, but for all of gaming. With it's gorgeous graphics, great gameplay, and large open world, you'll want to take days off of work for this game.
Resident Evil 7 returns the series back to it's roots. Full blown horror, not action. Resident Evil 7 brings the horror back with it's creepy atmosphere, and the crazy Baker family. The gameplay is simple yet fun there is a block attack to reduce damage from enemies and good degree of weapons to protect yourself from the horrors of the Backer estate. As expected you have limited resources and can only take a few hits before dying unless you block. The story is interesting with this black gross mold that creates creatures called The Molded.
Dishonored 2 makes improvements over the original in nearly every aspect from gameplay, soundtrack, and replay value. At the start of the game you're allowed to pick who you want to play as. Will you play as Corvo Attano or, his daughter and empress Emily Kaldwin? Regardless on who who choose they all have their own unique abilities, Such as Emily's Shadow Walk which allows you to turn in to a shadow and either kill your enemies knock them unconscious,or slip right by them, and Corvo's ability to summon a swarm of rats to devour his enemies alive. The world of Dishonored 2 allows for many ways to get to your destination, and like the first game you can complete the entire game without killing anyone. The soundtrack is also really good and makes some of the best parts of the game even cooler. The level design is also some of the most unique I have seen in any video game to date. With one level that is a mansion where you have to flip switches to navigate the entire mansion. Every level is like a puzzle that you must figure out on how you're going to get to your destination. Leveling up in this game has also been improved with an ability tree, and you also play though the entire game without any super natural powers. The story is a bit of a let down. It's not bad, but it feels more or less like the same story from the first game. The story overall is still great though. With so many ways to play, everyone who plays Dishonored 2 is going to have something a bit different.
The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt, is one of the best RPGs ever made. The third entry in this video game franchise delivers on many aspects of what games a good game, a fantastic soundtrack, an amazing story, and incredible gameplay. Story fallows Geralt of Riva looks for a woman named Ciri who is like a daughter to him, while also trying to stop The Wild Hunt. Gameplay of The Witcher 3 is more than just swinging a sword around, it also requires you to use magic, and block as even the easiest battles can provide a small challenge. the world is absolutely huge, and it could take over 200 hours or more just to see and do **** soundtrack is one of the best in any video game.. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a land mark game for not only RPGs, but for video game in general. Go by it this isn't on you can't miss out.
Goat Simulator is nothing but a huge bug, and it's really worth checking out. I mean you're a goat you can do crazy things. Like ride bikes, go to space, fly a jet pack, and so many other things that it would be almost impossible to name them all. I like to compare this game to "The Room" it's awful, it makes no sense, but you can't look away. If you want a game where you and your friends can play a game where you're a goat doing crazy things. Then buy this game.
Ori and the Blind Forest is nothing short of breathtaking. This game has a fantastic storyline with characters that you really care about. The game manages to make you care about the characters not through language but through beautiful animations, and back story. The game looks absolutely incredible with graphics that make it look like an outstanding animated movie. The game is tough, but it's fair because the controls are so precise, and smooth. The level design is also really great, and the soundtrack is just... I can't even begin to explain how fantastic the soundtrack is. Literally the only problem I have with the is that it's really short. If you just rush thought it without dying to much you can beat it in an about an hour. But with a fantastic storyline, beautiful graphics, a fantastic soundtrack, great level design, and great gameplay. This is one game that is very replayable.
The Last of Us is one of those games that's so good that it's hard to describe with just words. The Last of Us is an unbelievably good game. It has amazing graphics, characters that have so much personality to them that they seem alive. The gameplay is amazing, in this game saving ammo actually means the difference between life, and death. The storyline maybe the best storyline in video game history. It has multiple fun and challenging multiplayer modes, and a fantastic soundtrack. I'm so glad I got a PS4, so I could play The Last of Us Remastered.
Final Fantasy IX was the last true game in the series. IX took everything that made the older games great and perfected everything. The story is in my opinion the best in the series where every character has his/her own story to tell and it has a bunch of throw backs to the games before 7 and 8. The combat system is fun and simple yet challenging. The soundtrack is just beautiful. The game has some great graphics for a PS1 game with fantastic looking FMV sequences. To me and Hironobu Sakaguchi this is the best Final Fantasy game of all time.
This game is awful, it should be ashamed of even bearing the name Dead Space. There is nothing in this game that feels like a Dead Space game. There's no cutting limbs off of enemies. there's no tension, there's no scary moments, and the cut scenes look like **** An absolute mockery of the Dead Space name.
Red Faction: Guerrilla, just Isn't really that good ****. It's not a terrible game, but it's a bellow average game with not a whole lot of things to see, and do compared to most open world sandbox games. The story is forgettable in my eyes, with very few interesting characters. The graphics for a 2009 game are really good, and when you're destroying stuff it looks really cool, but the occasional pop in is annoying. The gameplay is a mix between a third person shooter, and break **** with my huge hammer (I don't know what to call the gameplay so I'm calling it break **** with my huge hammer gameplay). There's a lot to do, but not enough for a second playthrough. I'd say if you can find it for like $15 dollars pick it up. If you can't don't bother. This is one of the few open world game where I don't know why it's so popular.
Dishonored is quite possibly the best game Bethesda has ever made. It's even better than Skyrim and Fallout 3 in my opinion. Dishonored has a fantastic story line with characters that are likable. The stealth of Dishonored is amazing, the game gives you many different routes when playing. For example there some guards blocking my path, should I kill them or go the rooftops where I can get to my destination without alerting them and without killing them? That's what I love about this game it lets you experiment with different ways to get to your assassination target. You can beat the entire game without killing anyone ,including the assassination targets. A lot of people complain about the graphics, but I love them. The graphics make this game look like an oil painting in motion. The game offers an rpg like system where collecting items called runes allow you to get new ability's and upgrade them, I mean who doesn't like summoning a swarm a rats to eat your enemies alive? The only problem I have with this game is that it's kind of short if you don't go for any gold or don't upgrade much you can beat the game in about 4 hours. Despite the short length Dishonored is a fantastic game. How good is it? When completed the game for the first time,I immediately started a new game.
Outlast is a game that has had people jumping out of their seat since 2013 so, I thought I'd jump on the Outlast horror ban wagon, and I didn't find it all that scary. But enough about my experiences with the game. Let's talk about the game as a whole. Pros: Despite the fact Outlast didn't really scare me until the last few hours the atmosphere was excellent throughout the entire journey. The graphics for the most part look nice with the exception some of the character models. The idea of looking for batteries for your camera is done vary well and makes for some of the scariest moments of the game. Hiding from enemies is really scary (even though I didn't fine the game as scary as I thought it would be). Cons: The game can be beaten within 6 hours. The character models might look cool at first but, If you look closely at them, you can see the characters have weird faces. Also **** -_-. Outlast gets a 7.3/10.
Shadow the Hedgehog is a mediocre action game with some high points and low points. First the high points. For a Gamecube game the graphics are quite nice and have a decent amount of draw distance. The story is actually pretty cool with multiple routes you can take, if you want to be a good guy you can, if you want to be a bad guy you can, if you want to be a badass rouge you can. Some of the bosses are pretty fun to fight and look pretty cool and the soundtrack is really good. Now the low points. A lot of the characters annoying and most of them unlikable with the exception of Shadow and the main villain (who's name I can't remember). The gameplay doesn't feel like a Sonic game because you get to use guns, and while you don't have to use the guns a lot of the enemies in this game can take a lot of hits so you have to use the guns almost all the time. The controls are pretty bad and the camera is horrible. The game offers multiplayer which may sound cool, but it's very boring. How boring? Metroid Prime 2's multiplayer is more fun. The game is also very hard. If I wasn't already a big Sonic fan I would've given Shadow the Hedgehog a 4.
It's story is really short and the fact that this DLC tries tell the events leading up to Dead Space 2 and fails, is just sad. It fails because it starts out with the outbreak already happening. The DLC on it's own is not terrible, but as a prologue it's pretty weak. I would say only get it for you're Gamerscore, most of the achievements are very easy to get and it offers new items for the actual game. Dead Space 2: severed is a massive disappointment to an excellent video game.
The MGS HD Collection is the best HD Collection ever. It's one of the few HD Collections that look better then the originals and it maybe better then the originals. The 3 games for the collection are, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Peace Walker. All 3 games have great story's, excellent voice acting and great gameplay. This is one Collection you can not miss out on.
Dust: An Elysian Tail is an underrated masterpiece ****! This game has of the best graphics I have seen in a 2-d hack and slash. As well as a storyline that moves at a near perfect pace. It's a metroidvania style game with it's multiple routes, secrets and treasure this is on game you can't ignore.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is unlike any game in the MGS series. This game has some of the best hack and slash gameplay I have ever experienced. Along with it's great level design great graphics and the best soundtrack I have ever heard in a game it's a game for anyone looking for a bloody and awesome time.
Silent Hill 2 is more then just a game. it is one of the last (and best) survival horror games. With a great storyline, legitimate scare, and of course Pyramid Head. How could you not get scared?
Silent Hill 3 is one of the scariest games I have ever played. While the game may not look great any more that does not mean you should miss out on the awesome game which is easily the best in the series.
An excellent MMO-RPG experience with tons of things to see and do. Star Wars: The Old Republic is the best MMO-RPG I have ever played It has everything a good Star Wars game and MMO-RPG should have. Great level design, simple yet fun combat, a great story, nice colorful graphics, solid sound design, and excellent voice acting. Simply the best MMO-RPG out there don't listen to anyone who says this game is bad.
Ride to Hell: Retribution is beyond any doubt the worst game I have ever played! This "game" has so many bugs and is totally unplayable and here's why. The aiming is so frustrating because the sensitivity is way to high and that's on the default setting and even on the lowest aim setting it's still sensitive. The game's melee is like the Batman Arkham series but without the challenge the strategy and the fun. The game also has an endless stream of QTE's, and the story... My god it's the worst story I have ever heard in a game, and every woman in the game is used as an object for unsexy fully clothed sex.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is and will always be my favorite game of all time just everything about the game is perfect the bosses, the music, the story, the characters, and the gameplay.
