Absolutely amazing game! Any fan of hard sci-fi should check it out. The story is great, graphics still hold up in 2025, and it’s not one of those “vr experiences”, it’s a proper game.
Great story, really great pixel graphics, amazing music, very interesting battle system… and all of that was ruined for me by the weirdest difficulty system I've ever seen. I've played a bunch of JRPGs in my day. I've never been particularly good at them, but I can’t call myself completely helpless either. But this game… Maybe I’m missing something, but in its default settings, it’s just way too hard for me, unpleasantly hard even. Tuning down the aggressiveness didn’t do much for me. And tuning down enemy stats completely eliminates any challenge. So, in its default form, the game is too hard, and when I tried to adjust the difficulty a little bit, it became ridiculously easy. Too bad. I really like it, but I won't enjoy it. Probably, it’s just me **** at the game and not the game itself, but that doesn’t make much difference, to be honest.
Besides some minor, but still frustrating, issues with climbing mechanics, this is a really good game. It feels like an adventure from start to finish.

The same game as the first one but this time with horrible writing and dialogs. Dropped it after finishing 70% of the story. And yeah they are trying to push that woke nonsense down your throat way too hard.
I didn’t expect much from this game, but end up liking it very much! The story is brilliant, art is beautiful and replayability factor is there, which is rare for this kind of games.
It’s so good! Basically it’s Pokemon for adults. Deeper combat mechanics thanks to a longer list of types, WAAAY better story and really good retro style graphics. One of the best games I played this year.
I love the game. It's great! Battle system is awesome, plot is pretty good too. Why 7 then? IMO it has severe pacing problems. I'm around 50 hours in and the game turned into a cut scene fest. I'm just going from one place to another to watch some cut scene, after that I'm reading some text that summarize what just happened and then goes to the next place to watch yet another cut scene. It's ridiculous. It's 10 minutes of gameplay and 35 minutes of cut scenes. It breaks my heart, but I think this is going to be one of those games that I never finished.
This is one of the most overrated games ever. I played my fare share of VNs and this one is mediocre at best. It's tedious. I mean TEDIOUS. Pacing is horrible. Story itself is alright, but nothing to write home about. But IMO the biggest problem of that game is dialogues... It's something 14 years old girls writting in their blogs. It's so... Unrealistic. Poorly written. Cheesy. I don't recommend this game. Go play Stein's Gate or Zero Escape series.
