Laughably Poor Narrative Choices and Writing: I vehemently hate this show for it's undeniable wasted potential and the absolute massacre they've done to the character of Hal Jordan. We could have had an amazing parralax and spectre that I was hoping would be perfectly set up with this show. Instead, now we have a show that seemingly hates / disrespects the source material it is based off of to such an extent audiences have to settle for some terribly paced unwatchable wannabe true detective slop. Every character in the show is a bad person. Not a single character that is likeable or interesting other than john stewart. The parallax storyline and arc could have spanned multiple seasons or this show could've focused on john and we could get that later but after watching episode 6 of Lanterns and enduring the same mistakes by studios over and over again, I am completely checked out of James Gunn and co's criminally messy and disgusting handling of the dcu.
