This is truly the best game ever. COD move over this is the new meta. Graphically awesome, gameplay wow, gunplay is unrivalled and without a shadow of a doubt a game that I’ll be playing for months if not years to come. A must own. Bugs, glitches, what! Not on my PS5!

Yes my game has stalled, twice, first time nearly thought it had killed my console but no it’s all good. People need to give this game time. We’ve had a patch update, which for me has improved things a lot. It’s not perfect, not Red Dead Redemption 2 perfect but it’s getting there. CD Projekt Red knew what they were doing when they released this and to be honest I do agree it’s probably 6 to 12 months too early, but what I’ve experienced so far is nothing short of a masterpiece in storytelling. This game is awesome if not very complicated but I’m sure the dots will meet somewhere and it’ll come together. Patience is what you need. CDPR will continue to release patches even over the festive period I’m sure and soon everyone will be raving. So sit back I’m probably gonna die cos I’m V and Jonny Silverhand and I don’t know what the f**k is going is on but I love it.

Watch Dogs: Legion9
Nov 2, 2020
Most of us have come to love and know Ubisoft as the people who do a decent open worlder. But we all knew before it was released Legion wouldn't be a classic and it certainly isn’t. But it’s not terrible either. I do love the play as anyone idea and every character is unique and different and with a different voice tone. The story well I haven’t really touched the surface so I’ll update later. The graphics are brilliant no frame rate drop for me and I have the slim PS4 with a full HD tv. But it’s quite simple. Getting around is pretty easy but one thing needed and a lot of is tech points and some of them aren’t accessible cos of game progress or I haven’t opened that part up, some are high up and so you need a parcel drone, not easy to come by but once you’ve hacked one, getting around the capital of London becomes a breeze, no where becomes inaccessible. The driving mechanics is very easy, each is a little different, definitely not GTA 5 but close. It’s almost GTA 5 the tech version. And London, oh London, looks stunning. Obviously being from the Midlands I don’t know every nut and cranny of London but Ubisoft have created a very dark London, most of which seems real and to scale. You can even go on the London eye and take pictures. I’m gonna say it, this game is surprisingly brilliant and fun. Not played it for many hours but I’m sure there’s more to come and I look forward to many more fun hours. Oh and by the way, don’t run anyone over and kill them cos after all, you can play as anyone including that old man you just run over. Not a classic but also not bad. And I’ve had one crash so far but I’m sure Ubisoft will continue to update and improve the gameplay and iron out those pesky bugs. Thanks Ubisoft.

FIFA 210
Oct 18, 2020
No Martyn Tyler/Alan Smith commentary, all training sessions in career mode are D rated and also training gets boring and monotonous to the point is there no way this can be automatic, grind is more the word, graphical glitch when you get a handball penalty but eventually it goes back to normal, some big names missing from the edit teams/transfers, same old same old graphics, goalkeepers are awful, defending isn’t easy at all whatever difficulty you have, I’m sure I’ll find some more negatives. So far the worst FIFA ever. UPDATED... and the wait continues for EA to get off their fat backsides and update the game. Three updates since launch and they were all on day 1 and nothing since. Nearly two weeks and EA continue to keep us waiting. I hope it’s big one too, anything less that a 1GB and it won’t be enough. This year for sports games really has been, well has beens. NBA, NHL, NFL and now FIFA. Terrible. Let’s hope 2021 is a better year for sports games.

This isn’t a review inasmuch as a thanks to the numerous people who own the game have rated it and made me make my decision in whether or not purchase. I won’t be buying it. I love the MCU, I love the movies, but simply put this isn’t good enough. Too many negatives and I won’t be investing so it’s a no from me. The fact the a lot of the main critic reviews aren’t out either.

So it seems to me even though I’ve only installed this epic game and not even started that we have a world of haters for this game. The first game is astonishing and awesome and I haven’t finished it yet but the reviews really do suggest you guys don’t know a good game when it’s before you. You gamers simply cannot be satisfied. Too many haters. Won’t read anymore zero reviews.

I’ve been in and out of this game over the last couple of years but now on the eve of The Last Of Us 2 being released I’m playing catch up. This game has a way of **** you in and keeping you guessing for more. It’s got a lot of heart, attention to detail and the graphics ok they aren’t perfect being a remaster but they are damn near good enough for a PS3 exclusive coming to PS4. I won’t say much more suffice to say, you’ll fall in love with the characters before long and the entire way the game moves along slowly but beautifully. I’ve not completed it but I have watched a story recap of this outstanding game so I’m kind of up to date with tomorrow’s release. And this I’ll say, it’s the greatest game ever made. But now the sequel is coming, that will become the greatest game ever made.

FIFA 206
Nov 14, 2019
EA and FIFA have become like marmite, you’ll either love it or hate it. Firstly the hates. Commentary is again dire, particularly Derek Rae & Lee Dixon, Martin Tyler & Alan Smith is barely passable but way better than Rae & Dixon. The little and I mean little updates to career mode are ok but still after three interviews with the media you kind of guess how your responses are gonna be and the questions to go with it. So media interviews are not great. Graphics are same as 19, 18, 17. Gameplay was better in 19 cos I can actually cross the ball and someone score, but in 20 no no. Not even the best crosses get anyone on the end of it. But finally it’s FIFA we love it to hate it. It’s an annual thing. We pre order knowing full well it’s gonna be a bag of crap but we still enjoy the game cos it’s football and it’s the only football game that we love. By the way, PIEMONTE CALCIO (Juventus), come on FIFA that’s a laugh and an embarrassment not to have the rights to call Juventus the real club name. Anywho. Maybe next year EA will pull their fingers out and start taking note that this game we’ve all come to adore needs a major overhaul but not sure it’s coming anytime soon. Maybe listen to the ideas and suggestions of the gamers, the ones who pay your stinking overpayed wages EA!!!

The reviews tell the story really for what looks and sounds like a dire offering from 2K. And you gamers aren’t liking it either. And to be honest I wouldn’t play it even if someone gave me a copy. Why do they make games like this, such poor gameplay, glitches I’ve read about that are beyond a joke. Truly awful and I’m glad I haven’t fell for it. 2K games should be offering refunds and remove the game from sale and start again. Absolutely terrible and I feel for anyone who has a copy and can’t play or get a refund.

Death Stranding10
Nov 8, 2019
It’s Hideo Kojima, how can you not like this game. So there are gonna be people who love this game, I’m one of them and then there are people who are gonna hate it. Those who are calling whatever simulator, there the ones who are the haters. It’s a game that divides opinion. But from what I’ve played of it today in the short time frame, it’s an outstanding achievement. A technical masterpiece. Death Stranding isn’t just a game, it’s an experience, a journey, a marvel. A game that definitely requires patience but is more than rewarded in the long term. There are few minor gripes within the menus, not very clear and precise but minor gripes. This game is important coz it’s about connection, and we all need it. It’s a game of great importance and it’s now we need it.

eFootball PES 20209
Sep 11, 2019
Now I’m a FIFA fan for sure but cos I’m away when the game is released I thought we’ll give eFootball PES 2020 a try. Let me first say this, there are differences for sure. FIFA is and always will be the best football game on console. There cannot be any doubting that. FIFA is officially licensed almost throughout the entire game whereas PES isn’t. It’s nice that the players have there real names but other than the licensed teams (Man Utd, Arsenal, Celtic, Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich), there’s nothing much else in this game that’s officially licensed and that my friends is what always pulls this good game down. Licensing. But that’s a small gripe. This is a decent football sim you know. Commentary is a bit to be desired, not Tyler and Smith but it’s still very repetitive and occasional boring. Graphics are ok, not FIFA, but still pretty decent. Gameplay is very good. Master League is where is this game excels. But not wanting to drag this review on anymore, it ain’t FIFA but while I wait for that game this will do for the time being. A very good playable football game. FIFA though will come out on top.

For an alternative to Burnout this is it. And one thing to remember always restart to make a better go of it. Slightly long load times my only negative. But other than that an over the top, outrageous, stupidly brilliant driving game, at times completely insane but so playable and enjoyable at the same time. Some of the fun I’ve had so far is awesome. I can be on the last lap in first place and somehow still end up in the middle of it all and not win. But again restart is your best friend! Always restart if your struggling. But a MUST own. Not a massive fan of lawn mowers and the three wheeler but hey I’ll get there. Enjoy driving mayhem.

Car Mechanic Simulator8
Jun 26, 2019
Firstly this is a brilliant game. For any car owners out there this is a must. And it’s a game that educates as well. Really insightful all the different parts of the car and how they are put together and being able to almost take apart and rebuild a car from scratch. It’s so realistic as well. Secondly and this is why it’s scored 8 and not 10, is the bugs and problems I’ve encountered. Basically you get parts that are required for your car, you come to reattach them and it says there is nothing there. I’ve emailed them to say it needs a new update but being a game that only a handful of people will play, it probably won’t be looked at for a few weeks or months. Cos they think it won’t do well. It’s brilliant and well worth a look but wait a while until any updates come.

So this is a review in progress. Firstly, what the chuff 65 seconds loading time to play a game of cricket. I counted it and I’m sorry that’s not good enough playing on these consoles today. Best sort that out Big Ant Studios. Other than, I’ve only batted for a few balls, can’t say much more but it has promise. Oh and the frame rate is a real dog.

Tom Clancy's The Division 210
Mar 13, 2019
First of all the all important question is it like Anthem, NO! There is absolutely no comparison between that load of garbage and this incredible game. Updated - it’s bloody hard work, dying and respawning a lot is a pain but perseverance is the way. Don’t give up folks. Next thing - there are load times, the first initial one to start the game, then to continue where you left off. Fast track load times yes but not long at all. Let me be clear as well, this game is tough, you will die, and the respawn option isn’t exactly generous particularly if you haven’t got a safe house near by. So let’s list the positives - - Washington DC is incredible, awful but incredible. Graphics are stupendous, gorgeous, rain, fog, sunshine, Ubisoft have really gone to town in recreating something of beauty in terms of this game graphically. - Gamplay is awesome. Using guns is a joy compared to the incredibly tough The Division. Enemies actually adjust when taking gunfire, one shot, you’ve disoriented them, then go to town and kill that b*****d, but as you imagine as you progress enemies get tougher and wiser. Finally - I haven’t played enough to say anything of the fearsome Dark Zone or endgame. I’m only level 6, but from what I’ve played Ubisoft have made a game that is leaps and bounds better than the first. There are gonna be people who are negative, but this is in incredible game that is worth your money and time. I’ve had one shutdown of the game, but reported to Ubisoft thru my console, but then when I’d gone back to my save (you can’t save at all in this game, it’s automatic) point, the current mission I was on was completed. But hopefully it won’t happen again. I’d say first timers, don’t go multiplaying on all your missions just to start with. Give it a week. Obviously the game isn’t officially out to the whole world yet, so I’m sure Ubisoft will have an update ready for fridays full release. But definitely worth a look. You won’t be disappointed.

In the light of a recent game release Anthem that is, I thought with that game harking back to this game I thought I’ll give this a try again. Destiny The Collection. Wow what a game. And after only a few days of playing it, (only paid £25 from amazon) I’m already levelled up to 40 no in game purchases too. That isn’t to say there isn’t in game purchases cos there are but since playing this I’ve realised that even though it’s an online game you can still enjoy this solo and boy what an experience. It’s just incredible how much I’m enjoying this epic game which is why I’ll stick with this and Destiny 2 as well and stuff that stupid release last week. This is what multiplayers is all about. Well done Bungie.

That lovely feeling when you cancel a pre order only to realise it really is a rubbish game, the joy it gives me that I didn’t waste £59.99 or £79.99 and the fact that most of you will have done it thru your consoles, it’s gives me huge pleasure to say haha, no refunds for you lot! Always buy the physical copy, say thru amazon and it’s cheaper too but anyways. And if you end up hating like hopefully most of of you are, send it and get a refund. But so glad too finally I did the research, watched videos, waited for the critics to review this pile of junk and then thought you know what, no. BioWare thanks for nothing. 6 years in the making and this is what you bring us. Shame on you. Well I at least I’ve made my choice and saved myself from financial embarrassment. Enjoy the game folks. One final word, why the heck hasn’t this been reviewed at all on XBOX OR PS4? Clearly the PC game is exactly like the console version. Oh well, still ain’t buying it.

Far Cry New Dawn0
Feb 15, 2019
I’ve simply waited for the reviews on this one, I loved FC5 but thought with the price being a lot lower nothing significant in the game pre orders, no season pass and the download size about 30GB says a lot about this Far Cry 5.5 release. Oops did I say something wrong there lol. Yeah it appears to be more a bigger add on than a stand alone game so it’s shame Ubisoft didn’t think maybe give FC5 buyers the option of adding this to the original game and then carry on. Reviews are very average as I thought, so for me as the dragons say, I won’t be investing until it’s reduced in price maybe in few months. Ubisoft I really hope your next Far Cry offering your using FC5 as a template and then go from there. FC5 is by and away the best Far Cry game in the series but there are still loads to improve upon so go ahead Ubisoft make us a classic offering we will not turn down next year. But it’s a no from me on this poor offering. And it’s cheaper to buy in the US than the UK too.

Three incredible games, one great price, what’s wrong with that. Oh and it’s Batman too. Arkham Asylum was one of the greatest Batman games ever on XBOX 360 & PS3, now it’s been remastered brilliantly for this great collection and the same can be said of Arkham City too. Then there’s Arkham Knight, well, nuff said. Just buy and enjoy. Simply put a collection of greatness.

Now I’m not a fan of online multiplayers particularly shooters of which this is so I’m new to this and wow it’s a tough learning curve. First rule of thumb is check out all the online tips, tricks and hints. And surprisingly you actually win without nearly firing a shot so it’s not all about running around trying in vain to kill any and everyone. Stealth is your friend. Don’t land near lots of buildings. Yes there are technical glitches, frame rate issues and stuff but basically wait until there is around 15-10 of you left if you survive and then hope for the best. So online multiplayer shooter, no it’s a stealth online multiplayer with shooting elements. And I’ve just realised too, you will if your new to this be players are on this like 24/7 who play on PC and or XBOX so I wouldn’t think your PS4 to PS4 exclusive PUBG, so it’ll be like PC to XBOX, PS4 to XBOX, so it’s anybodys game on any console. But it’s bloody tough.

Just Cause 49
Dec 5, 2018
Well since the previous game took a while to get into, and with insane load times and always replaying cos I kept dying, Just Cause 4 is a welcome change and pushing the series in the right direction. Much quicker load times, the grappling hook a dream to work with, so far what I’ve played it’s brilliant. Ok it’s no classic but still, great fun, great action, some frame rate issues, love the destruction and yeah Just Cause 4 is a cause for celebration despite the average and very late reviews.

Red Dead Online10
Nov 28, 2018
You start the game as usual, but now you get a choice of story mode or online. Again very quick load time. Then you create your male or female character, very fun indeed. Then into story mode. Then after you’ve done that, you have the whole world to choose from in regard to what you wanna do. But be warned, the more you play the better you’ll be become, level/rank up if you will. Cos there are players online who are very mean and have ranked up very high and they don’t mind going round shooting everyone or killing you. It’s basically that’s simple. But when the map opens up you’ll know where to go and where not to go. If your new to this online part, steer clear of anything involving killing cos like all these online multiplayers I think one of them is called Call Of Duty, you’ll die immediately. But the more you play, the more people share their likes and dislikes, the more Rockstar will add and make this the most enjoyable online experience ever. But just like the story mode amazing but with real people. Well done rockstar.

There are always gonna be a few who are negative and slate a game of this magnitude. Obviously PC owners with no console might as well steer clear of reviewing cos they’re only being negative cos they haven’t got a version of it but patience I’m sure Rockstar won’t leave you hanging whilst PS4 & XBOX owners enjoy paradise for eternity. **Update - Well the greatest game ever keeps on getting greater. For those who are lucky enough to own the ultimate edition, you can now play the game online (beta at present) but as the week continues the online beta will eventually open to all and what I’ve played online is nothing short of awesome. You pick your name, as well as decide male or female character to play, (your playable character will NOT speak at all) apart from whistle and speak to the horse, pick your looks then head into. Now it appears it’s not online as speak cos nobody has interacted with me or tried to kill me but I’m sure these will come in time. RDR2 & RDR2 Online well what can I say. Keep on bringing the joy.

F1 201810
Aug 24, 2018
Firstly let me take this moment to congratulate Codemasters on what is the best looking F1 game ever. Visually stunning, graphically awesome, ok the real drivers aren’t perfect but is close. But for me it’s the gameplay that takes the crown. So the game opens with you picking your driver, trying to pick someone who likes me, always fun, from face, helmet, then name and nationality. Then the menu screen. Forget the rest and pick career mode. This is where like all the critics have raved about the biggest improvements on last years. And let me say this, you will want to play all 3 practice sessions ok. Let me explain. You are given little challenges to complete and in the process get yourself up the leaderboard and get that number one spot. Then qualifying, oh wow it’s a one shot one lap shootout, but the great thing is the lead car is a ghost, say it could be Vettel or Hamilton, or anyone for that matter, beat the ghost car in one lap you've bagged pole position. And just to note for those new to this, well there isn’t many of us new to it when it comes watching this great sport but playing it is a very different animal. Just start on beginner and go from there. To sum it up, the greatest F1 game ever made.

Aug 16, 2018
I love Madden I really do and this years edition held such high hopes what with the positive reviews from critics and that’s rare. But when I picked it up and played I thought what!!! I’m playing on rookie level ok, kids level if you will and my offence wow it’s crap. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but every pass is either picked off or slapped away, you wait move the QB back then propel it and it ends up incomplete. Everytime it gets picked or slapped away. And third down conversion is a no show, running game is woeful too. Why have they made it so damn difficult for us. It’s almost unplayable at any level. And the graphics yes incredible but you kind if forget it when the gameplay is sooo awful and unplayable. This years Madden in short, graphically awesome but woefully unplayable. I’m hoping I’m not the only one struggling.

There are so many superlatives to pour on out on this outstanding title here on the PS4. Kratos is absolutely awesome and his son Atreus brilliant. Ok so played the beta version briefly, awesome graphics, great sound, and stunning cars and vehicles but and a big but, load times are a little on the long side. Now the game is out only just downloaded, started and exactly the same as the beta. I hope they fix it, long load times I think will keep some fans away. Right back to the game. Oh and another thing too, no crash damage so far. But as I progress it might change. As I say only just started and that’s my negatives. MLB The Show 1810
Mar 27, 2018
Ok let’s get down to brass tacks. It’s not leaps and bounds better than The Show 17, so that’s that sorted. But if you’ve been lucky enough to play the brilliant The Show 17, you’ll be excited to know you can continue all progress from 17 to 18, including your player in the show and your franchise too. Graphics are improved but only slightly; the sounds including commentary again only slight improvements but the commentary doesn’t offer anything new, sometimes gets a bit samey and repetitive. Only new updates could improve this but I don’t think so. The gameplay is like last years offering, brilliant, exciting. Is it worth the £45 I spent on it, no. Is it better than last years, no. Is it worth waiting for the usual price reduction YES. Cos for me this more like 17.5 than 18. But still by far and away the greatest baseball game on console. And don’t fall the annual garbage R.B.I. 18, it’s apparently woeful compared to this. So to sum up, wait and get cheaper and continue playing 17.

Ashes Cricket9
Nov 17, 2017
From the makers of Don Bradman Cricket 2014/17 comes the excellent very playable Ashes Cricket. Here are the pros and cons. Pros - Great gameplay, though easiest is a little too easy Great control for both batter and bowler Good graphics for England & Australia players only Good sound, crowd noise goes up every 4 and 6 and wickets All the grounds for this incredible tournament All the players for both men and women sides Career mode, brilliant and with great depth, and you can use existing batters and bowlers too Excellent to pick and play of this great sport Great selection of other modes besides the Ashes Cons - Commentary is woeful and I mean awful, they repeat themselves with rubbish comments, this is the worse part of the game The names of other competing nations isn’t up to date and I’m not sure the graphics are either The bowling engine could be a little easier maybe to get some inside edges or get close to the wicket, it’s way too easy for the batter to get contact with the ball, making bowling the hardest part of the game. Some frame rate issues and buggy/glitchy moments And the question is, is it worth buying - YES. I definitely recommend this to any cricket or sports fan. A must own. But in summary we now have a great console version of this great sport. Well done Big Ant Studios. Keep the updates coming.

Rugby 180
Oct 24, 2017
I love rugby I really do and to be honest there isn’t enough of this great sport across any of the main consoles until now. Rugby 18 is now available on PS4 and XBOX One, but after reading the lastest review (only two critics have reviewed it so far), I definitely won’t be buying this load of rubbish. I know that critics can be too critical but let’s be honest when it comes to rugby, it’s not the easiest sport to get to grips with but in summary this and any other rugby game is it at least 10 years behind the quality of FIFA. Poor presentation, glitches galore, playability, game modes including career mode have been criticised as being woeful. So I won’t shelling out my £49.99 on this. Wait another 10 years things might change.

I pre ordered this bad boy last week, then after struggling with it, I stopped the pre order and got it refunded. Looking at what the critics and users think of this, wow glad I did. When one the greatest racers on the PlayStation steps out of the comfort zone into the online world and neglects its roots of what made it a classic in the first place, your gonna get serious criticism. Solo play, career mode have been given the boot to an extent and that’s why it’s a no from me. Probably spend my well earned cash on something better next, Assassins Creed. Hopefully that will keep the faith with its solo gameplay.

Ok let’s get one thing sorted, I do agree with a lot of the major critic reviews, this is definitely more like FIFA 17.5 than FIFA 18. The biggest thing improvement I love in this is the new interactive transfers, the fact that you sign all of your players that you want, if you have the money that is, in one day (ok slightly unrealistic in the real world) I do love. You don’t have to wait nearly a week to buy that player you really want, then the negotiation continues cos he wants a bigger pay packet, it can all be done on the first day of your new management. There are a few improvements on 17 but only a few. Is it better than PES always, cos I get to play with real players who play for real teams, none of this West Midlands v East Midlands, or north London v east London, come on PES grow some balls and get the licenses. My biggest gripe is this one, all of the biggest clubs get their own stadia, (ok not all of them, lower leagues probably not) but one, only the biggest football club in the world, BARCELONA, they play at the camp nou or the nou camp, why oh why can’t this stadium be in FIFA, none of this license garbage, only PES have the right, FIFA don’t, what a load of rubbish. Sort it and get the stadium in. But other than that, as always an awesome football game with only slight improvements on last years.
