Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut10

My favorite game on the PS5 so far. It has a more streamlined open world, which makes it feel a bit more linear, which is something that I definitely like - no fluff. I like the skill tree mechanics. Nothing overly complex. The game gets a little easy towards the very end, when you are fully developed (played on medium, as a player who usually plays medium). Graphics are absolutely beautiful! Controls spot on. Good mix of stealth and action.

Super nice, but niche. This isn't even a game in the traditional sense one could argue. Also nothing I would play forever, so the short linear gameplay is perfect for this. But if you are into a short lived experience a bit of the beaten path, with some philosophical depth, and some twist on gaming itself (not gonna spoiler), this is for you. That being said, defenitly not everyones cup of tea.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition4

If you like tech demos, you will love this game. Seriously I do not get how this game is so overrated. Half of it is a walking and climbing simulator, interrupted by that same boring monsters, tasks and shrines. The Adventures of copy & paste. Now yeah, building these Tech things is maybe an interesting addition, but it's fiddly and I am not going to build a robot for 5 hourse, which falls apart in 10 seconds. And within all this the game designers forgot about basic game mechanics. Unlimited food makes you unbeatable. Just go hunting. Graphics 9/10 gameplay 2/10.
