As somebody who played arc raiders for 60 hours and loved it. I prefer marathon so much it’s honestly a really fun game. I thought marathon looked like garbage up until I tried the beta. I already have 20 hours in after like 4 days. The art style is unique, the alien planet is cool and eerie, the game sounds and feels amazing to play. I don’t really care about bungie or their controversies, I will say though I hate destiny’s monetization. Marathon only being 40 dollars is nice but it scares me thinking about what we will have to pay for down the line. For people who say it’s really bad I never really agree with their arguments “it looks like ****… the colors are gross and woke!!! UI BAD!!! This game is soooo generic…” Just try the game if it looks interesting to you guys, if it doesn’t then go play something you find interesting.
An underrated must play for videogame fans. This game really changes your perspective on platforming. Having both 2D and 3D elements makes exploring this world a 420D experience. OG "MetroidBrainia"
Worst part about this game is the balance. The same 12 chaarcters remain untouchable by the rest of the cast when you play competetively. they could easily balance or rework some of the more problematic characters, but they just don't. Instead they add more fire emblem characters and minecraft steve(worst fighting game character in the history of gaming, but still a cool edition).n Listen to feedback on online nintendo, PEOPLE HAVE BEEN PLAYIN SMASH COMPETETIVELY FOR 20 YEARS, please balance for that.
I love zelda/dark souls/FEZ, so obviously I love Tunic. I love the music, gameplay, explorations, and the collecting of pages and way the game unfolds. The endgame is incredible, if you get lost just lookup something. but please get to the end because it's worth it.
The thing about the finals is that it's really good. They removed the nuke tech(C4, on a barrel), and this made me very upset, but then they added the lockbolt. This made me very happy. For context, I play the heavy and i only use the sledgehammer. I have never ever seen such good desteroyable environments in a game EVER. If you target specific supports in a building, and break those, you can change the entire map and how the games is played. this adds layers of complexity when using the sledgehammer. You can leave certain structures up, or level an entire building. You can control the game vertically and close the gap with charge and slam. You can force your fights to be close range with the lockbolt, and finish off fleeing light classes with a satisfying RPG shot. The finals diversifies it's loadouts and classes adding in a playstyle for many types of players, similar to overwatch, siege and battlefield 1. There are so many ways to play. My only recommendation is to find what you think is fun and stick to that. Balance is good in this game but it's not perfect. Sure, you can run three mediums with the FCAR, defib, jump pad, and turrets and sweat your meta slave balls off, but you won't have fun in that p3nis measuring contest, and you certainly won't beat the coordinated teams that play every day. Just pick something wasky and fun like the sledgehammer or whatever, get your ass kicked, learn, adjust, adapt, you'll start having fun and winning inno time.
Loved this ****. Also really liked absolver so I'm a little biased. My only complaint is that there isn't more levels or like a crazy gamebreaking dlc. This game raises the bar for combat in videogames, much like sekiro, dark souls, tekken, for honor, and smash bros. Though this game has absolutely nothing on common with these games, it carves its own niche and rewards you for your time playing.
Critics and fans alike were wrong on this one. i don't understand how melee/mario cart/ marioparty all get critical acclaim for being party games, but this is the only one that gets **** for not having enough single player content. This game is meant to be played in a group of 4, on 7 minute city trial, with random events selected. City trial has infinite replayability, and that feeling of when your star goes from gliding to flying, you know youre locked in. Old school unlockable content, classic gamecube menus, visuals, and we got this game running at 60fps in 2001??? Come on AAA industry wake up. Also, every song and course in this game is an absolute BANGER. Go grab 3 friends, play city trial and tell me you didn't have fun.
A Dark, and beautiful game about games, showcasing how your life for something can also become your own obsession, your own prison, your life, and your death. Insryption evolves brilliantly as you play and subverts your expectations of what a video game even is. 10/10 gamepla,10/10 music, 10/10 visuals/atmosphere, and 100/10 ending. not only is this game a must play, but it is also a must BEAT.
Insanely hard, yet satisfying when you finally beat it. When you first play it you feel like a baby with no arms or legs trying to roll up a mountain, but as you progress and sink your teeth into this game you discover one of the best sword fighting action games ever made. From soft is the king of combat, atmosphere, and level design. Sekiro is my favorite fromsoft title because of the gameplay alone.I feel bad for anyone that can't access this game due to it's design or difficulty. It is truly a masterpiece.
Probably the single greatest game I've ever played in my entire life. This game has an ending that will give you an almost religious experience and wraps up so perfectly that you will never have to play it again. The sun station is my favorite moment because of how it subverts my expectations. My second favorite experience was the end of the DLC, holy **** writing is just brilliant. The game design, visuals, audio, music, puzzles, and ENDING man what a **** game. DO NOT LOOK AT ANY SPOILERS YOU WILL RUIN THIS GAME FOR YOURSELF JUST GO IN BLIND. if somehting doesn't make sense go to the reddit, they will help you without spoiling anything or belittling you for not figuring somehting out.
