Played Disciples: Liberation before, liked it, but it got kinda repetitive after a while. Domination was honestly a really good surprise. The story hooked me way faster. The tone is darker, both in the narrative and visuals. Atmosphere feels stronger overall. Combat is clearly improved, less repetitive, more dynamic, and the system feels solid. Battles are more engaging and require actual thinking. Yeah, there are fewer units, and I was a bit disappointed at first. But once you unlock the new ones it actually works really well. Graphics are great, darker art direction looks awesome. Overall, a clear step up from Liberation. If you like dark fantasy strategy, it’s definitely worth your time.
