Ori WotW has nailed it. It has taken the best features from its contemporary stunner and competitor Hollow Knight, capitalised and improved on its features to create one of the greatest Metroidvanias of all time. Silksong no longer only needs to live up to its predecessor, it has to live up to this, too. 20 hours in and I'm still enthralled and still sending screen captures of beautiful art and gameplay to friends and family. I also seem to be enjoying time trials for the first time too... For all you Zelda 2 fans, for all you Symphony of the Night devotees, this is one of the classics of the genre. Enjoy!

Everything you could have hoped for. What a masterpiece! All the twists and turns, cliffhangers and heartbreak. I loved it, and I loved the shifting landscape of emotions you felt for each of the characters, especially Abby. Naughty Dog you've outdone yourselves. Thank-you!

Absolutely brilliant. FFVII has been one of my favourite games of all time for over 20 years. I am 36 years old now and I can tell you that this is so incredibly refreshing and nostalgic. What rich, rich character depth and atmospheric beauty. The kids that are rating this poorly have no taste. What a spectacular remake! There will be further, lush chapters to this, you idiot kids.

This is one of those games that comes along once in a decade. Truly one of the greatest video games of all time. The music, the gameplay, the secrets, the replayability, even the name of the game itself... This is a beautiful, perfected adventure.
