Joker10
Sep 9, 2020
Joker (2019) is awesome, yes, It is, don't get me wrong this time. :) Joker is set in 1981, it follows Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian whose descent into insanity and nihilism inspires a violent counter-cultural revolution against the wealthy in a decaying Gotham City. It's a great take on mental illness and bullying and how it affects the victim in a suspenseful way fitting for a psychological thriller. The movie draws inspiration from classic films with similar themes like "The King of Comedy". Robert De Niro's casting in the movie is fitting given his role in "The King of Comedy". Joaquin Phoenix does an amazing job playing The Joker. His performance is extremely flawless and beautiful. While Heath Ledger did a great job with Joker in The Dark Knight, Phoenix's performance is as great as the former, if not even better. Arthur Fleck's a very compelling character, as he goes through a ton of difficult stuff in his life, like bullying and such. He also has a ton of character development as he transforms into The Joker. His struggles also make the viewer want to be thrown into his world so that they can experience how he was treated. The film also works with Arthur's mental illness as it sometimes makes it harder for the viewer to know whether the events he's experiencing are real or not. The narrative also accurately portrays how Arthur's mental health progressively worsens through the film as he begins the movie as a sympathetic tragic person who continuously becomes more violent until he becomes a truly terrible person and a killer. While Arthur's conditions make him a sympathetic victim, his actions are still criminal and the move does paint him as a villain appropriately. The movie spreads a strong message on hatred, unfair class systems, the dangers of long-term suppression of emotions, abuse towards mental illness, among others with how Arthur is treated by society and his mental state. It also talks about how cruel people can be to others. Here are a couple of bad things about Although the movie's tackling of mental illness is profound, there are some inaccuracies. Some examples including The pseudobulbar affect, a medical condition that causes people to laugh uncontrollably is a physical disorder rather than a mental disorder. Given his severe declining mental condition towards the end of the movie, Arthur shouldn't have been able to outsmart the detectives. He shouldn't be able to interact with the interviewers after donning the full Joker outfit. What is the greatest two parts? The famous scene where Joker dances down the step street before he gets chased by the cops is amazing, in addition, the film takes place in at West 167th Street in Highbridge, and another scene where Joker is in a talk show with Franklin, and goes on a joke that society that abandons him and treats him like trash, and threatens him that he deserves him and he instantly kills Franklin is absolutely disturbing to watch. While the violent moments are infrequent when they do happen, they're intense enough to make the viewer feel uncomfortable with the psychological implications behind the violence. At the end of the film, we can see Bruce Wayne's family getting shoot by a protester, which it was nice to see Bruce Wayne before he becomes Batman. It's a very different take on a superhero movie, and it's refreshing to see. It uses the old Warner Bros. "Big W" logo at the beginning, fitting with the time period this movie is set in. Unlike other recent DC films that tried too hard to be dark and edgy, Joker manages to be dark and serious by doing it correctly and the dark tone of the film enhances the narrative. Joker is awesome, and I recommend you to see Joker! :) Hope you like my review! :)

It: Chapter Two8
Aug 15, 2020
''IT: Chapter Two'', otherwise, known as, ''IT: Endgame''! So, I saw the movie, and I find it's good. IT Chapter Two is a great finale to the novel, and it is the ultimate conclusion of the movie series, which adapts the second part of the novel, and the movie is still faithful to the novel, though less than the original. The adult actors give off amazing performances as the older Losers' Club, a particular highlight being Bill Hader, who is a lot of hilarious and even quotable lines. The adult actors were improved from the 1990 one. It still has very creepy moments, very creepy, and it has jumpscares too, and it's more darker like the first movie. Bill Skarsgård also still did a great job as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, and he is at his absolute best, with him being stronger, evil, and powerful than ever. The set and creature designs are some of the best, and maybe better than the original, since it gives off a ton of nostalgia. Just like Avengers: Endgame, the conclusion is satisfying, albeit with some bittersweet tinges! The soundtrack is still more scarier, and suspenseful. And the final battle is so epic, although it may not too scary, but the final battle with Pennywise the Spider Clown! :D During the final battle, it has "You lied and I died" scene, and even the three door scene. It's very scary, and it's amazing, and it has more touching moments. But there some thing that are not too scary, the movie may be more of a comedy than being too much a horror movie, kind of like an Indian horror film. The movie does however feel too long, with a runtime is 169 minutes. Yes, 169 minutes in the entire movie, although you can edit the movie and you could cut any unnecessary scenes that are not too interesting, or didn't fit the second chapter at all, so It look like an awesome conclusion, but it alright anyway. But overall, IT: Chapter Two is a very satisfying conclusion to the remake It film, and it's amazing, if not better, or anything good from the first movie. 8.3/10

Independence Day10
Jul 25, 2020
Independence Day (also known as ID4) is a spectacular, and amazing story about Alien invaders attack us just two days before Independence Day, and they The survivors devise a plan to fight back against the enslaving aliens, and July 4th becomes the day humanity will fight for its freedom! The whole story, is so straightforward as to be superfluous (aliens invade, fights ensue) but even so, it remains an invigorating watch purely because of the spectacle it provides, and the movie really knows not to take the story itself way too seriously. The idea of a film about the very huge alien attack on shortly before Independence Day in the United States and having a war against the aliens for the celebraiton of Independence Day is very original, and it's awesome! The acting is well done, Will Smith did amazing job, so as the other actors, and as well as the Aliens. Alien look very scary, and they are the group of the mother alien ship to kill all humans on Earth, and they so destroying Los Angeles, New York City, and even Washington D.C. This is one of the few times that Roland Emmerich had decent directing skills, one of the good examples that he manages to went out of his way to use every cliche in the book, over-sentimentality, weak, flat characterizations, incredible jumps in logic and reasoning made on the viewer, and the use of special effects to overcome these shortcomings. That there is one infamous last word is, HELLO BOYS! I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!! There is a large ensemble cast of good actors, some in career best roles, such as Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Judd Hirsch, Randy Quaid, Vivica Fox.,and Harry Connick Jr. in a small role! The final battle with the major countries against this alien ship at the Area 51 is AMAZING, even in the mother's ship! :) Independence Day is a amazing, and a classic sci-fi movie of all time in 1996, and it's one of the best sci-fi alien attack movies ever! :D Although it is a very predicatable movie, but thankfully, it's amazing, always amazing! Hope you love my review! :)

Aliens10
Jun 16, 2020
It's, EVEN AWESOME! :D Aliens (1986), is nothing, but full of fun, action, and scary action thriller sci-fi movie that has more fun, way funnier than the first movie, and it has a rollercoaster ride of violence, violence. Excellent practical effects for the Xenomorphs in the movie, the Alien Queen. She is the biggest puppet ever made for a film and required several people to operate, creating a terrifying creature in the process. The soundtrack is suspenseful, and James Honer did an amazing job with this! James Cameron did a FANTASTIC job working on a movie, and being a writer of this movie! It has astounding and funny catchphrases such as Game Over, Man! Game Over!.
Sigourney Weaver is WAY awesome, even powerful than he was, in the first movie. It is so amazing, that it's one of the best sci-fi and ''Alien'' movies, of all time, if not so. We will follow up to ''Alien 3'', and ''Alien'' Resurrection soon. Hope you like my review. :)

Alien9
Jun 12, 2020
''Alien'' (1979) is really is the masterpiece of the cinema, it's the best sci-fi horror movie of the 1970s. The idea of turning a Sci-fi movie adding horror stuff is very, VERY scary to the sci-fi fans and Star Wars as well. The idea of a space film about a killer Alien creature named Xenomorph goes inside of the spaceship named Nostromo and finding to kill the Xenomorph before the Xenomorph kills everyone on the ship at the time is very original. It has memorable and iconic characters, such as Ripley, played by Sigourney Weaver. The Alien (later known as the "Xenomorph") itself also became an iconic movie monster. Notably, the Xenomorph was designed and created to convey a fear of ****; it succeeded, it has amazing designs courtesy of Ron Cobb, Jean "Moebius" Giraud, and Chris Foss, who designed the movie's human aspects, such as the space suits and the Nostromo itself, and the late H.R. Giger, who designed the movie's alien aspects, which succeeds at being very disturbing and helped popularize the artist. Noteworthy is that Foss, Giger, Moebius, and O'Bannon had previously worked on Alejandro Jodorowsky's canceled film adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. It has a lot of scary scenes that became iconic, notably the chestburster scene. The filming of this scene actually terrified the actors; Veronica Cartwright's reactions were genuine. Ripley is pretty much a likable character, which she'll go on even more likable character in Aliens (1986). The soundtrack was scary, and it's amazing. And it's sequel, Aliens, which it's even more awesome. By the way, It's still amazing sci-fi horror movie of all time. :)

The Towering Inferno9
May 23, 2020
The Towering Inferno is a sweet and the greatest disaster movie, and it's not too bad! 8.9/10 The Towering Inferno is a 1974 disaster movie about a 138 feet **** at the night, got in a huge trouble and causes a night of blazing suspense, and it very fun! Very, very, VERY fun to see this movie, and it's an exciting disaster movie that everyone would see this, and it's full of scary, fun, and suspenseful scenes throughout the movie! Steve McQueen and Paul Newman were amazing cast in the blazing movie of all time! :) Not only that, but the movie has lots of amazing effects for the fire, and making the effects looks scary as it really is, the sets looking terrific, and it has likable characters, including Steve McQueen and Paul Newman as well! The soundtrack that was performed by John Williams is amazing, and he did amazing job with this movie. The **** named The Glass Tower, the tallest building than the original World Trade Center in the movie, is well done designed, almost looked as realistic as a fictional **** was. This is the several times that Irwin Allen has shown to have good skills as a producer, and his concept of the movie since he produces ''The Poseidon Adventure'' in 1972. The greatest disaster movie to date in 1974 to this day! :)

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines7
May 19, 2020
7.5/10 Who's here after seeing Dark Fate? Well.... Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is quite a decent Terminator movie... but it not a pretty good sequel to the first two movies, well, it's quite decent at best. Terminator 3 does however have some good moments from here, and there, and some of them are embarrassing, and making most of the fans uncomfortable, such as "Talk to the hand!" scene at the strip club, and as well at the gas store. But thankfully however, T-X is a amazing, female Terminator is quite a amazing, that she did try to make Skynet know about Judgement Day before she successfully did, also, Kristanna Loken's performance as T-X is praised by the fans. T-850 starts ****, Terminator that acting silly, and campy, making those fans very questionable to him, but however that Arnold Schwarzenegger still did a good job performance at T-850, and he is still as effective as his best-known character, despite it's goofy behavior. The most wonderful scene in Terminator 3 is the ending, the ending scene where John Conner and Kate Conner finds out that Crystal Peak was a fallout shelter for VIP's, and Kate tells John that they decided to let it go, and the film ends with Judgement Day started with the narrator, is admittedly pretty depressing, but it's actually good. I love this ending so much, making those fans agree that where the Terminator franchise ended with the 3, and almost many of the Terminator fans unanimously agreed this to be the best (or the least bad) of the post-T2 Terminator films. So, Terminator 3 feels like a decent ending to the franchise, but not in a good way, at least, it's the decent way to end the franchise before the franchise goes downhill. And yes, for me, Terminator 3 is sadly the last good Terminator movie before it goes downhill, and Terminator 3 got another T3 Is Dark Fate, which it supposed to be a directed T3 movie to T2. For me, Terminator 3 is the real sequel to the second film, and Terminator 3 came to a perfect closed. I'm pretty favorable toward the third one, not as acclaimed as the first two Terminator movies, at best.

Ghostbusters II8
May 14, 2020
Ghostbusters II didn't ****, in fact, it's wasn't too bad at all, although it sure is the failure of this movie, and everything thinks it's bad, but after the atrocious 2016 Ghostbusters movie, which It made them think Ghostbusters I and II look perfect, still looking for Afterlife next year in 2021. The humor is alright, while it may not be a good follow up, but the movie has some improvements that are not shown in the first movie, our Ghostbusters are still likable, and maybe the newer Ghostbuster. I didn't think Ghostbusters II is a poor follow up, but it's decent at best.

Jaws 210
May 7, 2020
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water... ...''Jaws 2'' didn't ****, in fact, it's the only good ''Jaws'' sequel that it still has more suspense, and although there didn't much blood unlike the first movie, and the shark is still scarier, much like ''Jaws'', most of the newer characters are pretty decent at best, and they're scary as heck, while it may not be a scary as ''Jaws'' (1975), it's still a good sequel, but ''Jaws 3-D'' and ''Jaws: The Revenge'', the last two movies are pretty atrocious. I'm sticking with the first two ''Jaws'' movie, and as well as a decent ''Jaws'' clone ''Deep Blue Sea'' (1999), the reason is, ''Jaws 2'' is the pretty fair sequel to the greatest shark movie, and Roy Schiener still did a great job as Chief Martin Brody. Although ''Jaws 2'' did receive mixed reviews, However, it is generally considered to be the best of the three ''Jaws'' sequels. So, I'm giving Jaws 2 a 10/10. Better than the last two sequels of the ''Jaws'' franchise.
