Mass Effect 310
Mar 18, 2012
It's really a shame people give the game a low score just because the last 5 minutes of the game aren't good. You have to review the game has a complete package, the action is the best in the entire trilogy, weapons are much better, the story is very emotional, the war is at grand scale at different places, and every decision you take is crucial to the life of many characters or races. Plus the ending will be fixed, I have hopes that it will be, it was all indoctrination there are so many facts that prove it. We can say a game ****, just because of a writer or some writers went all weird on the story when the other people that worked hard on other aspects did an excellent job.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 110
Dec 15, 2011
I paid 10 dollars for it when it released and it was all worth it. The game plays really well, except with special stages that become very annoying because it uses tilting controls. But it never gets old for me to play it, just wished it was more longer.

Kart racing and Crash, you pretty much know that you are getting a mario kart style of game but with Crash characters. Unfortunately, if you are not a fan of Crash, it doesn't grow on you.

Warning, this game is very addicting, it has a ton of puzzles now with the latest updates. And its some really nice mindless fun trying to protect the oranges from shower rain. It will have you thinking a lot but you will always come through!

Simple but great fun, Ninjump delivers some really nice levels in this deluxe version, the castle one in particular is the all time favorite. The gameplay is simple but it never gets old.

Super Monkey Ball 28
Dec 15, 2011
I had a great time with this game, Controls worked really well, and surprisingly the only monkey ball game I have been able to finish in my life. Never beaten a console game. It also offers some nice minigames like the landing one that is a true classic. If you love this series, you need to get this now!

TRON (2010)7

For a free app it offers some pretty decent classic gameplay of the lightcycle with the top down view, it really works great. There is also the tank mode that is okay, but gets boring quickly.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed5
Dec 15, 2011
It has some pretty unique ideas on using the force, but it gets really repetitive and boring, it never delivers excitement, instead a lot of frustration during lightsaber battles that insist on making you do too many actions at the same time.

Star Fox 64 3D10
Dec 6, 2011
The original star fox 64 is my favorite game of all time and the ONLY game I have given a 10 so far. Is the remake any better? Well somehow, its possible to have a personally perfect game, be more perfect it seems! Star fox 64 3DS is a must have for all fans of shooters and sci fi, the visuals have been enhanced and they are the best the 3DS has to offer, the gameplay is very varied featuring different paths to take, getting medals is a challenge, and expert mode even more. This is the perfect game to have portable that you can quickly play and enjoy at the moment. Soundtrack is excellent and voiceovers and story very engaging. Slippy is annoying (not as annoying as Jar Jar Binks of course) but can't help but love the fact as well. Is simply beautiful, I just need a sequel now. A really long game doesn't mean its a good one, because in the ending parts you will get tired no matter how great a game like that is. This game you can play it and will play it many times!

Kirby's Return to Dream Land9
Nov 20, 2011
Is He back? YES HE IS BACK! Kirby finally brings a true sequel to its 3d classic Kirby 64, even much more enhanced than ever before. This is the finest Kirby game you can ever find at least on his formula, on his spin off games is of course Epic Yarn. But really, visually great, the amount of powers is endless, and no power feels useless except the sleepy trap one of course. Boss fights are engaging, and it gets difficult by the minute, and just when things seem to be over, the game brings you even more levels to play!

Sonic Generations9
Nov 20, 2011
Finally after decent but not great titles like colors and unleashed, Sega finally scores with Generations a masterpiece. Taking the best from the franchise and enhancing it all the way through. All the mistakes of the previous modern sonic in unleashed and colors have been fixed creating a mixed of both modern sonic and dreamcast sonic. Yet, only one thing makes this an imperfect game, is too short and the last boss battle was a huge disappointment the way you have to defeat it, but otherwise great celebration!

Kirby's Epic Yarn10
Oct 19, 2010
I haven't had so much fun and excitement in a VERY long time for a videogame. Kirby Epic Yarn in your first five minutes may look like a simple platformer for the kids, but the minute Kirby suddenly transforms into a tank in the first or second stage, the experience changes forever. It features some really awesome platforming that gives me memories to Kirby 64 but also gives an even more unique and varied touch with it's graphical point of view and different transformations that all of them are effective and exciting. Kirby is definitely back in awesomeness on consoles, with this brand new game, and like the title suggests, it's epic!

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 18
Oct 12, 2010
Sonic returns to its classic roots in this excellent brand new game, despite that it copies many elements of sonic the hedgehog 2, it still makes up for it with new ones like the homing attack that works like a charm! The level design is great and unique all the way through, and it plays well both in consoles and on the Iphone as well. The only reason I can't give it the 9 score is because of being way too short, while I know it's an episode, is still too expensive considering that you can get the original games at a lower price but with a lot more levels.

Game & Watch Collection6
Sep 28, 2010
f you love classic old school games, especially the Game & Watch games, then you will definitely enjoy this collection. But for anyone else that just wanted to receive a free game from Club Nintendo, you are better off waiting for something else to arrive. This is due to the fact that the collection is too small considering how simple these games can be, compared to the amount of points it costs to get it. However, it is definitely a nice treasure for those that like to collect this kind of exclusives old school collections or enjoyed this franchise of the Game & Watch Collection.

Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood6
Sep 15, 2010
Sonic Chronicles is perhaps the most disappointing sonic game I have played. Granted, as an RPG is not a bad game, but it doesn't offer a truly unique experience from the rest of the RPGs I have played. I like the fact that they included many characters of the franchise in the story, but I personally just see no reason to put Sonic the RPG realm. I still decided to check it out because it was made by Bioware, the creators of the great Knights of the Old Republic. But it looks like they are not so great working on portable games.Still, you should give it a rent and see if you can accept this new gameplay.

Sonic Unleashed8
Sep 15, 2010
Personally, this is to me the most disappointing sonic game I ever played due to the fact of the addition of the Werehog. The game features Sonic only with some pretty exciting stages that are great but sometimes have a strange pace because of its excessive amount of obstacles in it. However, the werehog experience is a more slower sonic focused on a mediocre combat. The combat gets better when you achieve more combos, but it gets very tiring because the game puts too many combat moments and even less platforming in this stages. The werehog stages can sometimes be great, other times decent, mediocre or even at times awful. Yet, the overall concept of the werehog in general feels out of place and unnecessary for the franchise. I would have rather used a new character that was a wolf and would do those tricks, instead of thinking that somehow Sonic becomes this thing. Luckily, the xbox 360 version features a much more exciting gameplay than the wii version because of a better speed in sonic levels and better controls in the werehog battles that make me give it a higher score.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)8
Sep 15, 2010
This was the last use of the great sonic adventure formula, that could have been an excellent game but due to its excessive amount of errors, fails to reach the height of being considered a classic. It has all it needed to be an excellent sonic game, but it was not revised. Yet, I think Sega needs to use again this formula, but revising first for technical issues. Still, this game offers some really nice platforming, great variety in gameplay, a great soundtrack, and a decent story, it all requires is patience.

Sonic Classic Collection9
Sep 15, 2010
Sonic Classic Collection is an excellent collection for the Nintendo DS featuring some of the best sonic games out there, all in one collection. While some of the games features some really strange glitches where your character may suddenly disappear from the screen, they don't happen too often. But the best addition to this collection is the ability to save your progress for the first time in sonic the hedgehog 1 and 2, which makes this version superior to the iphone version of the game. Plus it also includes knuckles playable on both sonic the hedgehog 2 and 3. And a couple of extra illustrations in the game for you to see. If you already own this collection in perhaps Sonic Mega Collection, but you still want to play this game on the go, then this is definitely the title for you. And for only 20 dollars, you get an excellent deal!

Sonic and the Black Knight8
Sep 15, 2010
This is a game that has been taken the wrong way due to the fact of being quite a bit in terms of its gameplay style to other Sonic titles. If you liked the changes done to sonic in Sonic and the Secret Rings then you should give this title at least a rent and it's also for those looking for a game focused on fast paced action, particularly one that involves a sword. It's not a disaster game as many thought it would be when they heard Sonic was going to have a sword, it's a great title to spent some time with but one that may not last you as long than expected.

Metroid: Other M8
Sep 12, 2010
Metroid Other M is definitely a nice fresh take on the franchise in the 3-D realm that could have been excellent with a great story, if it had better controls and a more stand out design in its combat and level design. If you enjoyed the classic metroid games then you should try it out, but the best recommendation is to rent it first. This is due to the fact that its mistakes are not for everyone, and is a game that one must play first and find out if it truly is a worthy experience of your kind. The game tries too hard in making things unforgettable and exciting that it pays less attention to other smaller details that could have truly made it the ultimate metroid experience.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile8
Aug 29, 2010
Klonoa returns remade for the Wii! This was definitely one of those series that I always wanted to play and I finally got the chance to do so! And overall I'm not disappointed, as it offers classic platformer gameplay that many games are failing to do so. Not only that but it also has a very interesting story going with it. Yet the game is fairly easy and short, except the very last level that is only difficult because it makes you jump on platforms that are very small and make you slip easily. But aside from that little moment, you can finish easily this game. And while that is not particularly a bad thing, it becomes a bad thing considering how short the game is. Otherwise this one would definitely be superb, yet I can't wait to see the second part come to the Wii, please.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed7
Aug 29, 2010
I played and finished both this Wii version and the Xbox 360 version and I must say that this version is unfortunately the worst one. While the controls may create more realism, it does not offer great visuals. Yes I know the wii has lesser graphics, but Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 look far more better than this. Another thing is that they removed scenes and ideas that made the storyline on the 360 very engaging and very movie like material. But to compensate, they create a duel mode that is not quite amazing, but still offers something interesting to battle with a friend. If you don't own the other consoles then you should still pick up this game if you are big fan of star wars because is still an experienced not to be missed.

NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams7
Aug 29, 2010
Nights is definitely a nice experience, but as a game that is focused in dreamy visuals, it doesn't bring them always in the best quality. The gameplay itself is simple but fun to play around flying and enjoying the view at the same time, plus all the collecting. Even though it has a few flaws in his level design here and there. But the main problem with Nights is that once you went through the ride, there is not much to make you come back to it., because it's not as exciting as it could have been.

Sonic and the Secret Rings8
Aug 29, 2010
Has a sonic lover, I thought the game in general was a nice fun spin off experience of the blue hedgehog. Yet, it never convinces you that this is the best gameplay for a sonic game, the sonic adventure formula remains being the better formula. This is mainly because the controls are not always responsive, that occasionally you will fail a stage because of the controls, not because you were doing things wrong. Yet, it's still playable and it offers great opportunity to start very close to where you fall. It's definitely fast at times, and its definitely a thrilling ride all the way through that sonic fans should check out.

The Conduit8
Aug 29, 2010
The Conduit is a nice interesting game that has many interesting ideas going for it, but it never uses to the max to make an impact on the gamer. Still, it's definitely a nice first person shooter that uses in an excellent way the Wii controls. However, the game suffers from two main problems and is that the single player campaign is way too short and it has inconsistent difficulty. This means that certain parts from the beginning of the game can be really hard while others after that one can be much more easy. Yet, the game offers a very nice online multiplayer that is great for wii online players that barely get an online shooter and it works like a charm for the most part. I have hopes that the sequel will improve the mistakes done with this first part, because I have seen how greatly interested are the developers in making a great project and communicating with the fans.

Super Mario Galaxy 29
Aug 29, 2010
Mario is back once again in space for a brand new adventure, or is it? This second installment brings back the great gameplay of the first game but with new stages, storyline and a few new power ups and extras like the addition of Yoshi. The whole adventure is a fantastic fun experience that shows once again why Mario is again king of platforming, but the problem is that the game is not as exciting as it could be due to the fact that it still remains very similar to the first game, and in some aspects it does things a little worse and too simple, which are the storyline and the ship that takes you to the galaxies. And for those that say this is actually a harder sequel, I honestly felt it was in the same difficulty of the first game and even with certain bosses, easier. Still, if you loved the first Mario Galaxy and want some more, then you should definitely check this game out.

Disney/Pixar Toy Story 38
Aug 29, 2010
Toy story 3 continues the tradition of making great videogames, the previous game of the second movie featuring Buzz was definitely a classic, and this one is no exception. It offers a simple pick up and play gameplay for all the ages and it also maintains it variety in every way. Not only that but the game maintains replay value with the toy box mode where you can control and create new things in a dessert stage. This is definitely an excellent game for kids, and big thanks of the movie should check it out as well.
