If you are into online grind of rising the rankings and soccer, this is a niche game for you! If you are looking for non-competitive story/career mode, this game falls flat on it's face. Only worth the price at $20 or less. Considering it is a first party Nintendo game, don't expect to ever hit that price range. Do not recommend.
I enjoyed the Campaign mode and story in 2026.Local head to head was also very enjoyable. Overall solid experience but most likely will never play it again unless local head to head. Worth it for $10 or less.
This game is a perfect secondary game to help break up whatever primary game you may be playing. Fun and witty dialogue and a solid enough story to keep things rolling along. It did get a little grindy at the end but that made beating the final boss much more rewarding. Easy recommendation as this game is on sale frequently!
For what this game set out to be, it hits the mark well. Most of the time it is very clear on where to go to progress the audio story. I enjoyed the few times it was not clear and just roaming about. Perfect for a long car ride.
The fact that this games MSRP is $60 baffles me. This franchise has fallen so far since the days of the Wii Winter Olympics greatness. The story mode is short and underwhelming. If you can't find a sale for $10 or less, it is not worth the money.
Easily digestible gameplay for any user as well as a steep enough learning curve for those extra competitive players. Where it falls short is the UI and having to burn time clicking through all of the notifications but hey....that's a free game for ya.
Relationship building, grid style combat, great voice acting. This game hits the mark on what the devs set out to do, simple yet detailed. The 3 main story lines is an exceptional idea to create interest in replay ability and new story content. Highly recommend for anyone with a bit of patience early on to get into the story.
Throw graphics and frame rate out of the window. This game's story/gameplay is well constructed and overall a digestible game for any age. Worth a pickup at a discounted price however.
Missed the mark completely on the open world. Would have liked to see more interaction rather than a few panels/P switches. However, if you are an online competitive guru, the step $80 price tag could just barely be justified. Expecting future free updates to the open world to make it better.
Story+dialogue heavy. Feels like a combination of reading a book with grid style combat mechanic. However, the ability to dictate how the story progresses gives this a bump. Overall solid game but plenty to be improved upon to make it great.
