Horrible effects like shots passing through ships and ships exploding, but you can see the ship just disappears into thin air, repettetive micro managing and then just sending your ships in to an orb with something in the middle asteroids, planets etc... They fight someone wins and repeat. There IS a lot to do, always something to upgrade or keep an eye on. But it doesn´t ever get exciting, its just a matter of how many ships and how good they are. Pour them in and wait, the graphics could have made me stick with it a lot longer but it agonizes me to watch a flak frigate with bullets flying at a 90 degree angle out of a barrel! At least make the barrels point at the targets! Worse even with big ships, beams shooting straight through the hull of the ship firing to hit something to the sides, look stupid and breaks emmersion....

The rating this game has is crazy! a 7 is generous. Its a matter of taste i know, but seriously, the graphics arent that good, sometimes u get stuck running around a corner or an obstacle. The weapons feel underpowered (I dont like having to shot a guy 3-5 times in the head with a rifle to kill him) and the salts arent all that different, its basically just how you want to stun the bad guys and with what power. There has been put a lot of attention into the characters, environment and story though, which is the games saving grace.

Brilliant game! But do yourself a favor and play on hard.... The game is very easy and it is too easy to just kill anyone who opposes you. The visuals may not be the best but they are very artistic and suit the game!

Keeping in mind the brilliant job they did on the first game this second one just feels rushed and unfinished. I actually preferred the graphics in the first game, the new graphics are maybe marginally better but they put a strain on my system without it looking the part. There are also glitches like soldiers taking cover behind a truck and then being unable to shot past it, just keep firing directly into their own cover. It ruins the gameplay if you ask me. Oh year, in one mission whilst supposedly being backet up by a friendly army group (in the campaign) the AI keeps attacking the commisar stationed at my barracks when deploying conscripts, hitting and destroying my own buildings. Makes me ask myself if they even bothered to test the game.

I am sure any positive reviews of this game must be fake, it is terrible. I have played it for 90 minutes and every time I try starting it up I am so disappointed that I almost immediately shut it down...
