These platforms really need to stop rotating negative reviews to the top for this game. There's far more positive reviews than negative. Admittedly, a confusion about the nature of this game existed the first hour. Within a short period of time, Forespoken established itself as a trend setter. Frey parkours and zips across valleys, up towers and over mountains in an exhilaratingly stylized and fun form. Even after unlocking fast travel, my preference was to parkour thousands of miles. At some point, a lush and breathtaking landscape, littered with dynamic weather and glittering magical clusters accented every moment of travel. Now, combine that with an elaborate spell casting and combat system that is built to control like a shooter. Yea. I know. Frey is that girl and she isn't afraid to talk some sht. Sometimes she over does it but that is the character. She is this awkward girl given the burden to save a foreign world. I did find combat grinding overwhelming at times due to challenging enemy AI, enemy quantity and the neccessity for top tier reflexes. But i think that was my choice in the start. I have no further notes. 9/10

X-blades was super mediocre. It's combat engine is as complex as a snes side scroller. Bosses and levels are also repetitive. Character caught my younger eye but now it's just cringe. I'm very easy to please when it comes to games. So, yea.

The art is absolutely pristine. Controls are air tight. Combat is fun. Story.... epic. Animations, so impressive. Characters have great personalities as well.
