I enjoyed this game much more than Silent Hill f. The CRTV mechanic is a fantastic idea and works incredibly well. The story genuinely hooked me, and the graphics are solid too. As a millennial, the 90s setting really hit me. The 1996 atmosphere is absolutely fantastic — floppy disks, payphones, old company logos, flyers, corporate videos and advertisements… all those little details are a masterpiece and brought back so much nostalgia. I’ve heard people complain about frame drops, but on PS5 I only experienced them a few times. There’s more stealth than combat, but once I learned how to play the game properly, it really clicked for me. At this point, it’s easily in my top 3 games of the year. The puzzles are challenging, but solving them without any hints is incredibly satisfying. I’m playing on Normal difficulty when it comes to combat and with puzzle hints turned off, and I think that’s the perfect way to experience it.

Great atmosphere and an interesting story. I played on Hard difficulty, so the combat was a fun challenge, although it started to feel a bit repetitive after a while. I also encountered a few bugs here and **** can definitely feel that this is the studio’s first game, but it also shows that they have a lot of potential for the future. If you’re a big fan of The Witcher, I definitely recommend giving this game a try!
