Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores10

+ Gameplay
As shown in promotional material, an upgraded variant of the Sunwing is added, you'll now be able to dive as well as fly faster than before. It's unlocked halfway through the DLC and can also be used on the mainland. Additionally, a new weapon class has been implemented, and only consists of the Spectre Gauntlet. The Gauntlet is a futuristic-made blaster that shoots beams of plasma, either in automatic mode, or in a single, grouped burst akin to a sniper rifle. The new machine catalogue is lighter than HZD's The Frozen Wilds. Excluding the final boss (that's counted as a regular machine) and the Waterwing, only two new machines are present, with one that can only spawn as one of the remaining other's abilities. That lackluster catalogue is however made up for by the sheer spectacle of this expansion's crown jewel, its final boss. the FAS-BOR7 "Horus" That's obviously all I'll say about it

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune6

The characters are excellent and the story quite interesting. The graphics are also quite ok I guess. But the biggest down sides are the gunplay and the game's pace. Too long, and too boring for what it has to offer, and don't even get me started on the drowned city part...

LittleBigPlanet Karting8

Not much to say honestly, it's a racing game mixed with your usual LBP shenanigans. It's fun, and the community-created levels basically save the game. The creation tools are also quite extensive.

Horizon Zero Dawn8
May 2, 2021
The world is beautiful. Destroying machines piece by piece feels amazing, ripping weapons from Thunderjaws and Ravagers before using it against them is illegally fun. The story actually gets interesting halfway through the game, where two hair-chilling cutscenes basically turns all you knew upside down. However the enemy human IA is absolute crap, making the fights just... pointless. The acting also feels off, and facial mo-cap is fked (fortunately fixed with the DLC). Side quests are also mostly bad.

Killzone 38
May 2, 2021
The gameplay is fast, the game is gorgeous (a recurring theme with Guerrilla since KZ2), and the story actually has a meaning this time. The characters still are pretty bad. Most importantly: the helghasts are still intimidating and good looking. and the MAWLR boss battle is also really fking metal. I dunno why we still haven't got to take control of one of those things in a remake.

Killzone4

I'm gonna be honest, there's only three things I will remember out of this game: Some of the soundtracks (Joris de Man can make a generic soundtrack one second and an eargasm the next), the Helghast's fantastic, intimidating look (I swear what is it with PS-exclusive shooters and cool looking villains?) and how BAD the rest is: Tasteless graphics and repetitive levels, souless characters (except Hakha) Same as Resistance: Fall of Man, I'd suggest a remake treatment.

Resistance: Fall of Man5
May 2, 2021
Graphically outdated, the gameplay is slow. Some parts of the game are unnecessarily hard. The story is a BIT predictable. However as usual with Insomniac, weapons are fantastic and the design of the Chimera is awesome, they make for a memorable enemy, there was a LOT of wasted potential on how they could've presented them, where the story could've gone. Perhaps a remake would fix this? Whatever the flaws of this game may be, it, along with its two sequels still have the best cover arts EVER

Ratchet & Clank (PS4)6
May 2, 2021
No depth, no character, crap characters in fact. The entire story is as bad as GoT's final episode. This game shows it was really made in 10 months on a last-minute decision. I pray to god they'll get it right with Rift Apart. However the game is absolutely gorgeous, the gameplay is fast and fluid and the weapons are amazing (the pixelizer is the best thing they came up with since ACiT's space sections).

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One6
May 2, 2021
All 4 One obviously fell down the stairs and fking died, in fact I believe the code name for this game was: Dave, our studio is going to the crapper, do something! Now A4O may not be the best game, but it still took more risks than SIE San Diego in the past decade. Insomniac was clearly looking to reinvent R&C, and they deserve some respect for it. So yeah, A4O. Good graphics, some good weapons, but crap characters and story. Some chapters are criminally boring. But at least you can **** your friends... I'll leave it to you to see what I mean. PS: don't ever make Nefarious an ally again.

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time10
May 2, 2021
Undoubtebly the best game in the entire saga. The visuals are amazing, and so are the weapons (the addition of Constructo weapons brings a layer of customizability). the gameplay is without equal (R&C-wise), as the hoverboots are a blast to use. Clank sections, although being slow and repetitive, are quite enjoyable as the puzzles aren't too complicated or long to solve. The story also is quite deep. But the masterpiece resides in its brand new space navigation system. In past games you had to watch a cutscene of Ratchet flying in space before landing on a planet, in this one, you fly where you want by yourself. Indeed, you can cruise though a few different sectors, each containing one or two planets and a handful of moons to explore completely. But also side quests and jobs for NPCs to complete, enemy satellites and ships to destroy, all which can be done listening to four radio stations (classical, electro, jazz and rock) THERE'S LITERALLY 4 HOURS OF RECORDINGS FOR GOD'S GOOD NAME tl;dr play it

Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty5
May 2, 2021
Basically the same thing as Tools of Destruction, NOT in a good way. The story barely adds anything to the saga, the game is extremely short, and every weapon (not much) is also taken from ToD.

A blast from the past. Solid gameplay and amazing weapons. Although the mature humor the OG trilogy was known for is gone, the Future saga still delivers a good story.

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus8
May 2, 2021
An overlooked game, its biggest default might be its length, but other aspects make up for it. The story follows that of ACiT, and the serious tone is given VERY quickly once you start a game. Weapons are surprisingly good. The highlight of this game imo is flying with your jetpack on planet Thram burning the local wildlife to a crisp. All of it to open a vault... sigh, capitalism.
