Unquestionably the best large scale strategy game, that's yet been created. With heavy focus on tech tiers, faction unit and structure diversity, and a truly divine soundtrack. Forged Alliance improves in every way, from its predecessor. The game’s core focus is in economy management, not over-investing on eco or units, but both, perfectly synchronizing is where the game’s very high skill ceiling lies. --- FA still to this very day, has a large community, you will however require an external client for this, I have to recommend FAF. External user created content aside, which includes units, mods, and campaign scenarios. Forged Alliance stands out as an innovative strategy game, that knows what it desires to be. --- This is a must play strategy game for fans of the genre.

Your view of Kenshi is paramountly influenced by your drive and creativity; this can be to it's detriment at times. However where Kenshi succeeds is in creating a believable world, which is incredibly complex; one will initially oblivious to this. This is positively influenced by it's mod friendly nature. The game can function as any other does, with somewhat liner progression, however this can become monotonous quickly. Kenshi encourages you to avoid any metas you learn, and experience each world independently. Truly immerse yourself, and Kenshi will back you back in kind. --- Having base building, being able to completely automate a functioning settlement, made literally anywhere in the game world, is something which you'll miss from other games in the future. Having a somewhat dynamic economy and political system, and being able to create armies yourself. Kenshi is a true sandbox, open-ended game, which everyone should experience, if not for what it offers, for reference when playing other games for contrast of how to do things right.

This will go down as the pinnacle of bad writing, a unequivocal U-turn from The Last of Us. The build up and tension building in worse than poor, there are no justifications to characters drives, even if they existed in the first place. The fact that there are no critical reviews of this game from *professional critics* is extremely questionable, and leaves me dubious as to their credibility. --- Everyone wanted this game to succeed, everyone, but the writers. --- Everyone wants diversity, except diversity of thought, review, and perspective; The Last of Us 2 will down as a momentous testament to this notion.
