I liked this game, it's definitely worth a play, especially after playing the first one. The new RPG upgrade system is a fine addition if only to give you more things to find. The exploration is this game's strongest side, it pulls you in really well and it never lets go, but sadly while exploration is an upgrade from the first game, everything else isn't. It's not like the combat or the few bosses that there are aren't functional, but they feel way too easy and nowhere near the first game exciting combat. On its own, it is a great game, but measured up to the first one it feels like it's inferior as a whole package. I hope the next installments of this series are going to expand on other systems as well as this one did on the exploration.

It's OK, mediocre at best. While the visuals are stunning in some places and the game has really nice chase sequences here and there the first half of the game suffers from excessive annoying exposition dumps all over the place, the pacing really makes it much worse. The main protagonist also has a tendency to talk way too much for a horror game. It's also not as scary as any previous games in the series and even Penumbra titles. So if you have a horror itch to scratch - it's not expensive and it is good enough to finish. But in the end it's quite forgettable and feels too mediocre to care in the long run.

It's an amazing demonstration of what can be done with VR, and it's a good Half Life game - the horror aspect got to the forefront in this one, and it's something Valve really shines at. The Source 2 in all it's glory is finally being used to the full potential, and it's lighting is so good that it can put Unreal Engine to shame. The only downside is that this game is clearly made with care for people who are just tipping toes in VR, with slowly ramping combat - at the end of the game it feels like you've only just reached your combat potential, but then it is over. It makes me wish for a sequel even more.

It's pretty bad. Nothing happens for most of the time, and when something happens it's badly written and poorly acted. The voice acting must be the absolute worst part of this narrative focused game where it should be a highlight.

This is not the game you probably anticipate if you played previous Obsidian games. It's not bad, but it's not good either - it fails to meet the high bar previous games have set, it's short with uninspired locations, subpar characters and absolutely no discovery. There aren't any good looting mechanics either, there aren't any challenge and the quest lines are somewhat average in writing quality. The saving grace of this game is a very good menagerie of options in the quest lines, and some-what successful world-building. It's biggest sin is removing all wonder you feel when exploring, providing you with absolutely linear experience. The inevitable DLCs may make this game better, but as it is right now it's painfully average.

This game recreates Sonic 3 & Knuckles experience very, very faithfully. Graphics, controls, everything feels the same, yet very improved - new useful jump dash ability makes Sonic's gameplay a lot more fluent, and the sprites are just gorgeous - everything runs butter smoothes without hiccups or slowdowns, which for such a fast gameplay is impressive. The only downside is not having level transitions - it's a shame, since it's the only thing that original did a better job with.

Ok, this game HAS problems. But it does what any game should do the best - entertain you. It's the most organic and alive open world I've ever seen, there is almost no gap between exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving. It's surprising how dense the content is for its size, yet it still manages to surprise me with new stuff after 100+ hours of the gameplay. The story is also being communicated through the world a lot, and the lore of this game is pretty solid too. 120 Shrines, 45 of which are not just puzzles you'll find randomly, is a perfect number - it's a totally realistic task to go through thanks to the shrine locator. The game developers are really good at understanding the desire to explore and baiting players from afar to visit interesting locations. Shrine quests are really great, personally, I liked the island challenge most, but there are other huge challenges scattered everywhere. This game respects your freedom a lot, and it rarely forces you to do anything - there is no hand-holding at all once you leave the first location.

This is a very deep and inspiring game, with the great world for those who love exploring and solving puzzles. Astonishing visuals and great sound design both just feel like a nice addition to the amazing puzzle design and story.

This game deserves a low rating, and not only because it has a lot of technical problems, not because it has the worst animations, but because it is the worst Mass Effect game ever made. With all long-running series of games one would expect every new one to be better, or at least stay at the same level as the original, but in this case, it is a downgrade from everything even the first game established. I hope that going forward BiowWare would not do such a mistake once more, and improve the quality control.
